This CD is different from the the one from the first film as it refers almost directly to the actual pokemon series. I immensely like the theme tune, as ever, and if you like pokemon or songs that inspire you to achieve things, good things, then this CD is a good choice. I like both. Also, the You Can Do It If You Really Try is really good, what is everyone talking about? Even through, with regards to the lyrics, I was never a young man. The songs, then, are very pop-orientated and computer modified in an obvious way. I didn't think that little kids liked music as such, but I bet they like this. I do. (CAN I JUST SAY THAT I ALSO LIKE ROCK, PUNK AND SOUL SO ANY POKEMON FAN OR OTHERWISE CAN ENJOY THE SONGS.)

I had the Star Wars single on vinyl from 1978, until a recent disaster whereby I found it leaning against a hot pipe in my flat, bent and deformed by the heat. Oh how I cried...
Then I realised it is still available. While having it on CD doesn't compare to having the original print on vinyl, it did make me feel a little better.
The highlight here is not the SW theme (though it is pretty dope), but the original b side, Other Galactic Funk (which was just called "Funk" on the single I had).
If you're a funk fan or a Star Wars fan, you'd be a wookie to miss this.

Some people consider "Bug's Life" as not being on the same level of quality as other Pixar productions, but I really can not agree with them. My daughter clearly wouldn't agree either. This is a very funny movie, with a lot of interesting innovations (we will never look at bugs in the same way, me and my family) and a kind of surprising kindness - even the bad guys are shown with some understanding (having chosen the life of parasite racketeers, they are now trapped by it - as much as their ant victims). The principal hero is possibly one of the most likeable characters I ever saw. A little warning - there is one scene at the end, of the final demise of the leader of grasshoppers, that can impress the littlest children (under 6) - otherwise this ... Read More:

This DVD carries on right from the cliffhanger that finished Volume 5. The episodes are:
-Pokémon Shipwreck: As the only ones who didn't escape the shipwreck, Ash, Brock, Misty, Jessie, James and their Pokémon and Meowth are assumed drowned. However, the truth is they're very much alive. The problem is, they now need to escape the St. Anne which is upside down at the bottom of the sea. For the first (but, for the purpose of comedy, thankfully not the last) time, Ash and friends must join forces with Team Rocket. This episode has plenty of action and a bucketload of comedy. Again, we finish on a cliffhanger.
-Island of the Giant Pokémon: Following the last episode, the trainers wake up on a deserted island. Ash, Misty and Brock ... Read More:

This CD is good - it has great songs on it and is a MUST for ANY WWF fan - it has great speeches by Mankind and Undertaker in it and also has good songs like Snap... but NOT ALL of the songs are the ones you heard on WWF programming - this is very similar to FULL METAL the album - its more like a remix of that album - but since that album is unavailbe outside of boxsets - its a good choice to get this - its a good CD and im VERY glad to have it as part of my collection - WWF FANS - THIS IS A MUST HAVE!

Star Wars Episode One: The Phantom Menace. Star Wars Episode One: The Phantom Menace was the first of the "New Movies" that George Lucas has done, and he has brought back to the helm John Williams, Naturally! John has done it again! The music on this Soundtrack is of utmost quality, but nothing to surpass the originality of the first three feature films; Episodes 4, 5, and 6. The story for episode one may have seemed a bit juvenile when comapred to the first of the Star Wars Saga, but the music is still top Notch. I like to draw particular attention to Track Number 2; entitled "Duel of the Fates". What a wonderful piece of Cinematic music! It begins with outright showing of the power of the intended piece, with a simple three measure unaccompanied Choir burst ... Read More:

This is wonderful compilation. Of course, all Star Wars fans already have the original soundtracks, but this one is quite special. Sound and performances are excellent. If you have at your collection all original soundtracks buy this one too. It's good to hear in wich way other conductor is going to bring that extraordinary music. Kojian and his Utah orchestra are splendid. Special moments appear from track to track. Big drum is so realistic in this recording - you are going to experience dozen of earthquakes when you'll reproduce this CD. Take my advice, buy this one and just listen those wonderful sounds from galaxy far, far away...
