First, I didn't know who was David Bowie and what kind of tracks has he got. But, when both of my cousins and my sister singed it every time and my sister got a David Bowie CD, I listened to it. It was... wonderful. Now I know why are they collecting lyrics, pictures and CD-s from David Bowie & Trevor Jones. I only dislike Chilly Down and Within you, but my favourite tracks are Home at Last, Thirteen O'Clock and Underground; but I also like Hallucination, As the World Falls Down and Magic Dance tracks. The matter is just that I couldn't see the film yet but I DEMAND IT!

Great for car journeys, well produced, and lots of interesting stuff. Recommended for children 8 plus. My 10, 14 and 18 year old all enjoy these Naxos books, and so do their parents.

Lock, stock and 2 smoking barrels is a crime tale about a group of friends from London who happen to lose a game of poker, they end up in a lot of debt thus having to get out of it. The story takes many twists & turns and will also make you laugh as it has a very good use of wry & dark humor. The plot evolves around one man but there are many characters who share as if not more an important role. The star of the show in this movie is Vinnie Jones who acts brilliantly.

I bought this cd because I liked track number 10 "Dice" when I heard it played on the OC tv programme, though I can't say that I'll remember anything on this cd apart from "Dice" in ten years time.And I found that I got fed up listening to this cd after a few days - the music sounds old-fashioned (reminds me of the 1960s for some reason),the guitar music was awful on some tracks - no clear individual notes or chords (these dudes and dudettes aren't Mark Knopfler playing Sultans of Swing or Romeo and Juliette,for example).If this is the best mix from the OC I would advise people to steer clear of the others.And don't let the poor quality of the music on this cd detract you from buying the dvds of the tv programme which is as good as people say ... I've seen the movie twice. I enjoyed the music too. Most of the themes are known and popular and I was decided to buy it for just 2 reasons: Gabriel Yared's delicious score (the music while Richard is looking at Jennifer looking at the window in Miss Mitzi's school)and the tango they dance togheter. I hate when moviemakers discard a score to sell songs.

I have just listened to the cd and it is fantastic. It doesn't matter if you are a "python" lover or not. Fantastic song writing, arrangements, great vocal performances and the production on this cd is first class. Tim Curry is as always delivering a great vocal performance, as are the rest of the cast. It is brilliant. Buy it, you wont be dissapointed!

the film itself is truly touching, i like the hybrid between comedy and meladrama and the soundtrack is definately my most listened to at the moment, the songs are execellantly selected, very mellow and acoustic.

A great album with the music from the film. Holmes has written the music with the style that would not be out of place in Las Vegas. His attention to jazzy beats that almost reflect the original film. A great buy.
