This was the first Fleetwood Mac album I ever heard as a child, and I instantly loved all the songs on it. Some I didn't really understand untill I was older but I still like this ablum best. So I was shocked when I got hold of 'Rumours' and hated most of the song's on it. So I guess each album is different, enticing different people with different music tastes. Always try to hear the music before buying, that way you wont be dissappointed.

Vladimir Ashkenazy must rank as one of the greatest pianists of the modern era. His blend of flawless technique and sensitive interpretation marks him out as being uniquely placed to deliver as near to definitive performances as it is possible to get. This set of piano concerti was my introduction to his work, and I remain as impressed now as I was when I first heard them. He is ably supported by a rich and warm sound from the Chicago Symphony Orchestra conducted by the incomparable Sir Georg Solti. Ashkenazy was apparently apprehensive about approaching Beethoven and attempting to play him in the West when he emerged from the Soviet Union as a young man in the sixties; he need not have been. His command of the tonal energy and colours of the piano ... Read More:

Theres no doubting the quality of most of these songs..though a longer cd would have been more fitting. Smoe ommsions are apparent..tracks like Family man,Isnt it midnight,Beautiful child and a couple of others should have been included. Unfortunately apart from the brilliant Gypsy..the cd has 2 awful tracks from the average mirage album which spoil a good set. The 2 new songs are ok though not amazing. If you are new to FM then this is a good intro to the band as alot of the hits are here. Also check out there excellent comeback album 2003's Say you will which is excellent.

This album is brilliant. Ignore the negative reviews, this is a great album. The song Changes just reminds me of the awful cover by Ozzy and Kelly Osbourne so I do not like it, but the rest is brilliant. It's what you'd expect from the early Black Sabbath albums a great metal album with a bluesy feel to it. Best songs are Wheels Of Confusion/The Straightener, Under The Sun/Everyday Comes And Goes & Supernaut. Recommended to Black Sabbath fans. I like any Black Sabbath albums as I always enjoy Tony Iommi's guitar playing so no Black Sabbath album is bad. BLACK SABBATH ROCK!!!!!!!!!!

I heard Bad to the Bone on the radio whilst driving in USA and just had to buy some George Thorogood. Hearing the song again for the first time years reminded me of George's fantastic set during Live Aid in 1986. When I put it on in the car I just wondered how I had got by all these years without owning this masterpiece. It's a great mix of rock a blues, like ZZTop with attitude! Buy it, enjoy it and play it loud!
Release Date February 07, 1994
Possibly one of the best album's they ever made. Good heavy jazz/ rock throughout, good weird songs from Mercury, safe rock from Deacon, humourous silly stuff from Taylor and a few very good numbers from May.
Queen was always jazz and it still is. Great album.

In the midst of reading the Eno biography "On Some Faraway Beach" -about page 120 if you are pedantic - i came to the section where the narrative deals with Roxy Music,s 1973 album For Your Pleasure. Described as a "gruelling and disquieting experience|" by Charles Shaar Murray on its release ( that was a compliment) Roxy,s second album is easily the best of their career melding Bryan Ferry,s art rock styling's with Brian Eno,s sonic sculptures and dissonant tweaks.
The Roxy line up at that time had the classic elements of Ferry , Andrew Mackay and Phil Manzanera along with the soon to depart Eno , bassist John Porter-who would soon depart also, Roxy going through bassist ,s like Spinal Tap through drummers and Paul Thompson on drums. The band were able to ... Read More:

This collection is a perfect introduction to any new or casual U2 fan. It is a collection that demands to be heard in full, as there is not a weak song in the collection, although fans will dispute the inclusion and exclusion of certain songs. Personal highlights include, Even Better than the real thing, One, Stay, Gone and The Fly. It abtly demenstrates Bonos ability as a lyricist and singer, while also showing why Edge is one of the most revered guitarists around, and Larry Mullen Jr and Adam Clayton keep the musical pulse pumping. It also opens up listeners to delve further into U2 albums, definitley check out Pop(different) Atomic Bomb(guitar and more guitar) ATYCLB(melodic) and Acthung Baby(classic). This best of is a must for any music fan.

This is quite possibly the greatest rock CD out there. I have always been a fan of the British Rock from the 70s and 80s, with my 2 favourite bands being Pink Floyd and Dire Straits. What Alchemy is to Dire Straits, Pulse is to Pink Floyd. 'Coming Back To Life', 'Another Brick in The Wall', and of course 'Comfortably Numb' are quite simply sensational. The album is a must have for anyone who appreciates a fantastic guitar solo, or for those who think that music is just not the same as it was.
Honestly buy this album, put it on a great stereo, and you can just sit back and be amazed. Without doubt my favourite album!

First, I didn't know who was David Bowie and what kind of tracks has he got. But, when both of my cousins and my sister singed it every time and my sister got a David Bowie CD, I listened to it. It was... wonderful. Now I know why are they collecting lyrics, pictures and CD-s from David Bowie & Trevor Jones. I only dislike Chilly Down and Within you, but my favourite tracks are Home at Last, Thirteen O'Clock and Underground; but I also like Hallucination, As the World Falls Down and Magic Dance tracks. The matter is just that I couldn't see the film yet but I DEMAND IT!
