I first saw BC performing on a music channel, doing The Quest. I loved this song straight away and it made me look him up and download the song. Then when I realised there was an album as well I had to get that too! All the songs are fantastic and if you like the clip on the Amazon page then you will love the whole album. Buy it!

If you were born in the late 1940's to early 1950's then you will be more than familiar with Dusty Springfield. She was on TV more than most, (and we only had 3 channels), and out of the 21 tracks on here virtually every one of them was a single. It's one of those great CD's where, even if you have a lousy voice, you put it on and find yourself singing along. Dusty may have been more for Mum's and Dad's at the time, but growing up when her hits were around, I find I enjoy this album more now than ever before. Nostalgia. That's what it is. And Dusty's unique voice is better than any around today!

Heathen Chemistry is probably Oasis' worst album. But that doesn't mean it's bad.
Many tracks are very average by Oasis standard, such as All In The Mind, Force of Nature, Better Man and Hung In A Bad Place. However, saying that, personally it contains some of Oasis best tracks.
The Hindu Times is a fantastic rocker that would perfectly fit on to Definitely Maybe. Great guitar rifts and a great chorus, it is real ballsy stuff. Other highlights include Liam Gallagher's Songbird, which surprised many by being an incredibly sweet soft nice little tune - something many would not associate with rock's and hardest frontman. He also contributes with the heavily influenced Lennon song Born on A Differen Cloud - a song that shows a far ... Read More:

Love Grey's The New Blonde, and just found a video of Don't You Love Me No More (R.E.D.U.N.D.A.N.T.) on Youtube, which is equally brilliant. I have pre-ordered the album, and can't wait to hear the rest of it.

If you've got all the others you'll want this too. It's well over 10 years on from Smokers Delight and not much has changed in the world of trippy, laid back grooves. Just light one up and relax.

I can fully support the majority of positive comments in the more illustrious and learned reviews here. What I will add to this is that in my humble opinion, this was the first and best of the Steely Dan canon of work. There is not a bad or weak song on the album. I even think "Only A Fool Would Say That" is a great track.
Steely Dan (that is Becker & Fagen) were renowned later for their meticulous approach to the body of work constructed, but for all the brilliance of tracks like "Peg", "Deacon Blue" et al, "Can't Buy A Thrill" was the definitive Steely Dan album.
