Immortal Technique follows up his critically acllaimed Revolutionary Volume 1 with the much improved volume 2. This album is quite simply mind blowing. The ability of this man cannot be overlooked.
Release Date March 10, 2008
I thoroughly enjoyed Ghetto Gospel and was amazed that it was only a mixtape as it was better than most people's albums
Freedom Of Speech has a much more darker atmosphere than his last mixtape, with some deep beats from Lewi White and Smasher. Ghetto's lyrics are consistently solid whether he spits slow or fast, even the freestyle is impressive
Overall, i have no regrets in buying this mixtape and hope that more people become aware of Ghetto's gift as not many I know will even know who he is
In addition theres also some good features throughout the mixtape that bring diversity
One thing that I find surprising is how this man's mixtapes have so much quality I wonder what an album from him would be like

I don't think 2 stars is a justified score, and while I certainly don't think Phoenix is Zebrahead's best work, I do think it's a great pop-punk album with more to offer than Broadcast To The World.
In my opinion Matty sounds a lot nicer with his vocals in Phoenix than in Broadcast. I think this is mostly thanks to the way the album is produced, but nonetheless it is nicer to listen to. It's clear that some effort has gone into trying to throw some original ideas for this album. Ali's rapping style is as distinctive as ever for most of the CD, but on a couple of the tracks you can tell he's gone for a slightly different sound (All for None and None For All, Hit The Ground). Matty also attempts a bit of screaming at one particular ... Read More:

This CD will only play on a computer and not on a CD player. This is the third CD I've ordered from Amazon in the past 60 days that has the same problem. Then you can only contact Amazon through their customer service number and those people are totally lost. They can only refund your money or send you another bad CD. There is no avenue for you to speak to anyone who actually cares or even works for the company behind this process. It has changed my opinion of Amazon entirely!

I got this album for "Locked Up" which had firmly lodged in my musical memory since its release. At first listening I didn't think much of the rest of the album, but in fact it grows on you. i can't say I think much about the people favourite Bananza, but a lot of other tracks have interesting elements, such as: Trouble Nobody, Gangsta (with a really cool simulated female voicing leitmotif which, for me, should appear more frequently in the track), Ghetto and Lonely, while the rest of the tracks are not bad. The Locked Up remix is all the money. I wanted to give this 3.75 stars, but since most other reviewers have overvalued it, I gave it 3 as a balancing act. Don't get me wrong, as I said, it does grow on you, but at the same time, it ain't Tupac, ... Read More:

Ok so i'm a pretty new ashanti fan. My favourite song is Only U, so i decided I'd give her debut a go,not knowing any songs past Foolish. But I am now a big fan and looking forward to her new album in October. Heres what I think of the album:
1/Intro-I wont give it a rating cos its not really a song, but it plays ashantis work before the album.
2/Foolish-Brilliant!It was no.1 for months in The U.S, and its just...great!10/10
3/Happy-The second single,and a good summer song.8/10
4/Leaving-Love this song,shouldve been a single!Great Chorus 10/10
5/Narrative Call(Skit)- A skit,thats pretty laughable at.
6/Call-Good enough,catchy,but one of the weaker songs.8/10
7/Scared-Love this one!Great lyrics and good chorus. One ... Read More:

After recently caning Estelle's dreadful follow up single (No Subsitute Love) in another review, I thought it was only fair to also give the girl a break and credit where its due. I have to confess that I'm not a lover of R&B, but some of the songs (like this one) do stand out from the crowd in whats currently a very R&B dominated pop music world. Its a bit different from most the other stuff you hear and indeed very catchy. Certainly one of the best pop songs this year without a doubt, although unfortunately thats no massive achievement seeing as the quality of pop music seems to have gone very downhill since the introduction of music downloads and the decline of 'Top of the Pops'. No one seems bothered about the singles charts anymore and unfortunately pop seems ... Read More:
