This album is great fun from beginning to end. A lighthearted beat infused concoction this album is always entertaining and never dull. Even the cheesy cookery analogy doesn't tire and adds a bizarre kind of depth to this funky and upbeat album.

The guest vocalists add a dash of pedigree to the catchy tunes and while it is not going to be heralded as groundbreaking it is a cracking album that will never fail to add cheer to your day.

There are no low points with this record and I would advise it as a fail safe record for those people wishing to dabble in the murky waters of the hip hop world. I can guarantee you will not disappointed!

Wow, there are some great albums around at the moment, this being one of them. Chris Brown returns with his follow up album 'Exclusive', and he's certainly come a long way in the two years since his first album release. With more mature lyrics, great hooks, and a mixture of upbeat tracks and slower chill-out tracks. 'Exclusive' is a great original R&B album, thats sure to do very well. However, even though there are some really good tracks on 'Exclusive', overall I still prefer Usher's music to Chris Brown's...However I agree that Usher now has some competition...

After the pretty disapointing Kingdom Come album 1 or 2 people questioned whether Jay still had the hunger to make classic albums and whether now it was just about collecting a paycheck, But on this album he came hard and made one of his best albums, if not his best.

Brought out when the film American Gangster dropped, you can definetly see the similar aspects in the two, in this album Jay has done something he hasn't done before and made every song a story like chapters in the film.

The album kicks off with the song Pray which features the voiceover of wife Beyonce, this song explains about him starting to build his empire through street hustling and hoping not to get caught by the police.

Being new to the scene a lot were expected of cartoon band Gorillaz and they delivered in a way which was unbelievable with this fantastic debut album.

They came into the market having not a lot of success but were able to deliver in the form of their first single `Clint Eastwood' which reached number 4 in the UK charts but probably deserved higher with its cool style and interesting choice of lyrics.

The songs are very different from your average rock band. Because their mode of address is very unusual it struck a cord with a wide range of people. I loved NERD after getting into "Lapdance" from "In Search of..", buying the album out of curiosity and finding a hard core, funky rocky hip hop album straight out of left field. I was looking forward to more of the same on "Fly or Die" but was really disappointed by the album, which failed to deliver any great songs or even grooves outside of the hit single "She Wants To Move".

I was ready to give up on NERD after that until I saw them a few weeks ago playing live in London and was blown away by what a great live act they were. I decided to give "Fly.." another listen and buy "Seeing Sounds" after hearing some new songs that I did not recognise at the gig. I was in the States when this album came out and it was huge (of course). It's been several years since I listened to it but I have to say it's lost none of its power. Eminem is a warped genius who offends everyone but still manages to endear himselt to everyone at the same time. This was probably the high point of Eminem's career, although some of his later albums are pretty good.

Dr Dre is the best producer and one of the best rappers in the game. his productions are brilliant and his rhymes are top quality, the Chronic shows that. With Nuttin but a g thang he has produced one of the best rap songs ever, and a song that changed the game. He has introduced one of the most famous styles of hip hop with The Chronic, and that is G Funk. Also Deeeez Nuts is hilarious!
