Every so often, an album of truly funky genius pops up and makes you want to write a movie just to set scenes to the songs. Unfortunately for anyone just arriving at the Propellerheads' seminal work, you've largely been beaten to it. Rarely a year goes by when there's no film released with at least a few bars from this album hidden away on it.

Where, to give just one example, would The Matrix have been without Spybreak to accompany the excellent `Government Lobby' scene?

this is by far and away my favourite Fatboy Slim album (closely followed by Palookaville). One of the few albums I own that I don't skip tracks on - the sublime opener, the pounding middle tracks (Ya Mama & Retox) and the absolutely exceptional end track

if only all albums were like this, can't recommend it highly enough

One of the many lesser bands to crack the States in the electronica “invasion” of 1997, this duo had the style label execs thought American audiences would eat up. It’s easy to see why, as BRA layers on heavy doses of rhythm and groove then toss odd, cheeky samples throughout. Fatboy Slim anyone?

Actually, they could take a lesson from label mate and fan-fav Slim; the man knows the importance of a hook. His tunes may be simpler, but they’re more infectious. BRA are stuck in the middle, developing tracks with twisting, lively basslines, fluctuating beats- and not much else.

Well first of all I only bought this album for the Hybrid Remix of Name Of The Game on the 2CD release. Having heard Vegas a number of years ago and given it plenty of chances I found the whaling sirens that seemed to accompany nearly every track starting to grate very quickly.

I decided to give this album a try and after a few listens began to appreciate how much more mature and refined the sound was. My favourite track on here is most certainly Blowout and this tune epitomises their progression in style, to one that is more thoughtful and measured rather than raw and experimental. If you are a fan of electronica get this album and give it a few listens!

This CD is full of excellent tracks which have been composed very well. The drums fit amazingly with the basslines and treble. I am not going to list the best songs because it is good throughout (only the Shirley Bassey song annoyed me). In my advice you should buy the other version of this CD which has extra tracks. I havent heard them but if this album is anything to go by, then you should definitely get it

If you ever want to buy a good classic Ibiza CD, then the Kevin & Perry soundtrack is the one. Luvstruck by Southside Spinners, probably one of the best club tunes ever, Lange - Follow me, Mysteryland are all classics. Great remix of 9pm till i come by Signum, and CRW - i feel love is great classic ibiza track too.

I bought this album about 5 years ago when the film just came out, and i still love it, seriously you won't be disappointed if you buy this.

J. Cumiskey said it best when he wrote in his review of this album: "The last song 'Help Yourself' is one of the best songs I have ever heard in my entire life. I won't describe it, just say that you need to hear this song, pure art. This song will make you feel at one with everything with the world and is about as close to an out of body musical experience as you will get."

Help Yourself is now one of my favourite songs of all time! Trivia: it was used in "The Other Final", a wonderful 2003 Johan Kramer film about a soccer game between Bhutan and Montserrat, the two lowest ranked teams in the 2002 FIFA world rankings. Come With Us is patchily brilliant, but sounds a world away from 1999's Surrender. This is not to say that Tom and Ed should not stretch new boundaries, but the album sounds incomplete and unfocused, a weakness which plagued 2005's Push The Button. The stomping title track, with acid loops, vocoder vocals, and eclectic beats, is classic Chemicals, and Star Guitar is one of their finest achievements. Galaxy Bounce does bounce, and Hoops contains a terrific My Bloody Valentine guitar within a track that accomplishes everything.
