Good to see this has finally been remastered and the extra songs are welcome. One thing I cannot understand though is No Quarter has been edited from the original version, the previous release was 12:30 in length, this version is around 2 minutes shorter with obvious cuts in the mid-song jam section. Why on earth would you re-master an original and then cut sections of a song out?

wow this is a great compilation. i like most of these songs. can't get enough is my favorite. i also like electricland, title song, moving on, run with the pack and rock n roll fantasy too, those are really great songs. i highly recomend this compilation for people that like good music.

From the crackle and hiss of the first moment on the first disc through to the credits of the DVD this collection is, perhaps redefines, quality. Not ever a Chris Rea fan in the past - I have been an avid follower of all the Jazzeeblue material, and it is some of the finest music I've ever heard. It is so clearly a work of love and dedication which inspires, entertains, and even teaches - played by people clearly doing what they should be doing. Sometimes I get off on simply the production quality; other times I wonder how on earth they blended guitar and piano like that. Just a truly marvellous musical experience. Being a great fan of Robert Johnson I own most of his cds and this one has without doubt the best sound quality of them all. My only reservation is that unlike some of the other cds it does not include all of his tracks which is a pity. For true Robert Johnson fans I would recommend "The Complete Recordings", the sound quality is not quite as good but it is more comprehensive and in my opinion represents better value.

Feats Don't Fail Me Now

Even though song-by-song they may not be the best ever, Little Feat is probably my favourite band of all time, and this is undoubtedly their high point. Just pure joy.

With Little Feat, it was not all about the compositions, but also how those compositions were played. They are/were just awesome musicians, and I don't think a record could be much more groovy than this one.

My favourite songs include Spanish Moon, Skin It Back and especially Rock'n'Roll Doctor. I love the way how they play with reggae rhythms in that one and Lowell George's singing is just, er, orgastic!

This was the last album where Lowell George was still the dominant force, and Bill Payne and Paul Barrere were beginning to emerge as song writers more and more. In some of the ... Read More:

This is one great album that needs to be played loud.Jimi's guitar wails through all the songs and notably "Machine Gun" in which he brings forth the Vietnam War fought by the USA in Asia in in visual perspective but created by sounds from his unbelievable guitar-work.You can almost see the plane shot down by the machine gun as the pilot labours to keep the plane airborne as the engines have been hit.The engine finally dies as it hisses lifelessly despite the frantic efforts of the pilot to kick it back to life!Wow!What guitar work!No mortal man has ever played a guitar to the proficiency of the Gods as did Jimi Hendrix back then with mediocre technology.
