I love this album, and it has some fantastic songs that you'll listen to over and over again. As it is with all Gorillaz albums. However i might say that the Amazon reviewers kind of messed up with the name of the songs, i think that they really should have put in the Full Remix names on the 2nd disc. So Here they are.

I think this is up there with Rings Around The World for consistency. I've heard all their albums and have most of them. The Furries, like most bands, write some dross aswell. The advantage of having pcs/MP3 players nowadays is that you can easily create your own playlists by cherry-picking the best tracks from each album. I've done this with tracks from MWNG, Guerilla, Fuzzy Logic, Love Craft and Radiator and I'm left with one of my favourite playlists. ROTW and Hey Venus are, however, consistent enough to merit listening to without dabbling. As an introduction to SFA I would recommend these latter two albums as starters. If you don't like them, then you're just not a SFA fan -listen to something else.

This is an album that shaped rock music as we know it. It's one of those that grabs you right from the off and pulls you in right until the very end. Yes, that's despite all 18 tracks of it.....

So it fuses James Dean Bradfield's wailing guitar, Nicky Wire's punching bass and sometimes controversial lyrics, Richey James's brilliant topical discussions, as well as Sean Moore's relentless drumming. Sounds all right doesn't it. But can it sustain the quality needed for 74 minutes?

Okay, if you like Robbie Williams then the chances are you will enjoy this DVD although like me you may be dissapointed. The performances are exactly what you would expect from Robbie and of themselves each song is performed well, however, I do have 2 criticisms of this DVD, both in relation to how the performaces have been edited. Firstly, there is no chronological or geographical order to each song e.g. the songs flit from one concert venue to another and from one year to another and back again making the whole thing seem disjointed - and unless you were there you will have little idea which venue each performance is at(okay the castle in the background of some shots is a give away for Slane) and the sleeve notes don't help much as there is no song listing and the order ... The Masterplan is a B-Sides compilation full of great songs.There is an argument,in fact, for saying this is one of the very best Oasis albums. Certainly one of the most consistent. I think it's fair to say that it's time for another one-containing D'Yer Wanna Be A Spaceman,Round Are Way,Carry Us All,Cigarettes In Hell,Let's All Make Believe,etc...

This is a great cd, buy it as you'll love it.

Other suggestions are Parklife (def Britpop/indie sound, Blur (Really Rockie))and Leisure (Early Britpop).

I would'nt bother with Modern Life Is Rubbish, 13 and Think Tank.

Or why not buy The Best Of Blur and get an all round feel.

The Complete BBC Sessions

For as long as I've been a Texas fan, I've always thought that they should release a live acoustic album. At last it's here. Not only is it a live album, it's a 2CD set! It covers all of their career from Southside to Careful What You Wish For. I guess Red Book was too recent.

Sharleen has the perect voice for acoustic albums. It's well recommended.
