Having watched a production of Annie with my pet mouse, I was pursuaded to buy the CD for him. He loves it! He's constantly listening to the album and has made himself a wig out of the wax that covers edam cheese. He's even started eating less cheese so that he can feel more like an orphan. My only worry is that he now has a love of dogs and being a mouse, this is potentially hazardous. This is why I have only awarded four stars, but if you asked him, he'd give it five . . . and a half if that was possible.

Lazytown: The New Album +DVD

I hate to criticise Lazytown because we love it and everything it stands for - but we are a bit disappointed by the music on this CD compared to the first CD. It is by the same person/lyricists, however, it does not have the energy/dance qualities of the first album - and it is spoilt by the distracting/off-putting american accents of the puppets which are not the real voices from the shows and are so different that it sounds like they have all become teenagers and everyone's voice has broken! My other criticism of this product is that the DVD is not as good because there is not an option to play ALL songs- you have to keep going in and out of menus to play each tune which is annoying because I can't leave my kids watching it and get on with ...
