I'll freely admit I wasn't a huge fan of the movie, but I was a huge fan of the music. There really is nothing like putting on your favourite CD and listening to tracks you like. This is mostly all of the music from the film. Admittedly I've mellowed with age anf now I'm quite happy to watch the film , even though it seems to me that after this one Disney standards started to slip. It is one great CD just beware of Circle Of Life the beginning still makes me jump!

Thought this was a lovely idea for a children's CD, with great songs (and slightly 'different' from the norm) from around the world. I was really disappointed in the never-ending introductions and unconstructive 'chatter' before every single song, though, making it completely useless as a bedtime CD or even a nice 'music' CD, since it's all turned into a kind of lesson and once listened to my kids couldn't be bothered listening to it again as it was boring second time around and rather pointless. Very disappointing as the idea was super.

Possibly the best album of all time. Kermit has an especially fantastic voice, a cross between an early Cat Stevens and David Gray in his latest album, Life in Slow Motion. However, I think his rendition of One More Night till Christmas perhaps eclipses both these two great artists. I had heard rumours of a contract with Sony BMG and a solo career, but have no idea why it hasn't materialised. The song Love Is Gone is also an absolute classic, and brings tears to my eyes, especially the second version Track 18, which is perhaps the stand-out song of the entire album (which is saying a lot). I thought this would be enjoyable, Memory Lane and all that...it appears in my case that dementia has set in early and my memory of Tony Blackburn on a Saturday morning playing these songs in the early seventies wasn't that good!
