The reason I liked this DVD for my daughter is that it has many images for each letter. The DVD shows real animals like a dog, ducks, sheep, a rhino, lion and a tiger. My daughter enjoyed the animal clips. She liked the whole dvd. The music is classical. This is an educational DVD, concentrating mainly on introducing young children to many words, spellings and objects. My daughter was engrossed in it. So we liked it!! I like it more than Baby Einstein.

I've just ordered Elizabeth Mitchell's new cd, and in the process realized no one has reviewed this one, which is a great shame - it's exquisite! It was given to us a couple of years ago, and is still a firm favourite with our four-year-old. Mitchell has the most amazing, soothing voice, completely hypnotic. You'll feel like a fool, but you'll find yourself singing along to ABC like it's 'real' music, and her witty twists on classic folk tunes (Black Jack Baby!) are totally endearing. If you buy no other children's cd, buy this one!
