Please, check my review on the Spanish version of this DVD!! This series of DVDs are excellent and a very good buy!! It's ideal to teach children a language without involving English or an other language. If you want a French DVD for your kid, this is the one!! I have many French and Spanish DVDs for my toddler, but the ones of this series are the best!! Wish I hadn't bought the others!!!

This just blew me away when I saw it on television a while ago. I think it's from the seventies, certainly has that feel about it. It is just soooo beautiful the way they portray all the animals. I laughed out loud several times and even fought back some tears at a heart-breaking scene involving baby pelicans. It just shows you nature but from a human angle, treating the animals as if they were people. As I said, beautiful, sometimes very funny, very accessible for children (although sometimes a little sad) and just fun to watch. Who knew monkey's could get drunk from eating rotten fruit?
Just such a shame that it's region 1. I really NEED this in a region 2 encoding.

At first I kind of rolled my eyes at this one. Yes, I'd heard all about how classical music can help increase children's intelligence, but I wasn't terribly interested in upping my daughter's IQ (she's only 9 months old!) But then we listened to this CD and she loved it--grinning and moving to the music from the very first notes. My husband and I enjoyed it too. This is the first of three volumes of Mozart music for kids, and it is specifically designed to enhance IQ, inspire creativity, and provide a rich listening and learning experience for children of all ages. Today I recived my copy of Destiny Deoxys (I m a UK importer so :P) so in true Pokemon fanboy stlye I will review it!

Very good. It seems the producers have really gone downtown to chinatown (In other words did a good job). The opening explaining Pokemon was far better then what previous movies has done with all those Pokemon and so on.

Animation. Top notch. The 3D effects worked well and I m not the kinda guy that thinks 3D works well in animes or cartoons (Thinks of Final Fantasy Unlimited. EEK!).

Deoxys. Finally learned how to say "Deoxys". Had no voice so 4Kids could nt screw up in that department! lol. The way Deoxys moves is amazing. The flying, the morphing etc. Very nice.

I bought this CD based on the rave reviews it had received and because there was such a long list of songs. However the style of the music is not quite what i was expecting. I am no music buff but the style of the singing is more Irish folk/light opera music than jolly children's music. The words of some songs are not very clear and hard to sing along to. Also, the music sounds quite samey due to the style of the two singers. If you are a music pro this might be for you but if, like me, you wanted something simple and jolly to entertain your child and sing along to this is not the right CD.
