Like reviewer “Lenfran” I saw this as a child when it was first released and agree with everything he says in “Make mine day” and will just add a few comments.

Apparently due to a misguided sense of political correctness or whatever the lively and tuneful “Martins and the Coys” (great fun about feuding hill billy families) has been omitted, why? I saw the unexpurgated version and suffered no ill effects whatsoever.

My kids are hardcore fans of Barney T.V show. I thought this CD would be right along their alley. It was love at first sight for my five yaer old kids. It starts with the frightfully jolly Barney theme song, and ends with the emotional I love you. it is a rollercoaster ride of fun and games, and you'll be humming along to it in no time. The standout tracks are definately the reassuring "my family's just right for me", the bouncy tune of "the ants go marching" and the frankly rather disturbing but still very jolly "do your ears hang low". There are disapointments including the rather cliched alphabet song and the rather repetitive Itsy Bitsy Spider. The rather symplistic lyrics aside this is good clean fun for all the family.
