This is my favourite movie soundtrack of all time.
Harry Gregson-Williams' score is flawless, magical and layered. He uses an array or instruments and choirs, and each add to the over-all feel of Narnia.
The Narnian theme runs through this soundtrack, culminating in my favourite track - 'The Battle'.
HGW did an amazing job of capturing all the wonder and magic of Narnia, and just as Lucy is experiencing it all for the first time, we feel like we are, too.
Imogen Heap and Alanis Morissette's tracks are worth the CD price alone, and the lyrics are perfect for this film.
I've been listening to this soundtrack non-stop for almost two years now, and I personally think that it is just ... Read More:

At only half an hour long, this short film manages to be more poignant and emotional than many films three times this length.
The film explores a (very, and increasingly) long distance relationship between two childhood sweethearts. Communicating only through text message whilst the girl (Mikako) begins a career in the military fighting an alien race called the Tarsians, the length it takes for her messages to reach her boyfriend Noboru increases exponentially as the distance between them becomes greater.
Before long the messages are taking over 8 years to reach their target, and our Romeo and Juliet are trying to deal with moving on with their lives but simply can't. Their attention lays focussed with their mobile phones, never ... Read More:

Today I recived my copy of Destiny Deoxys (I m a UK importer so :P) so in true Pokemon fanboy stlye I will review it!
Very good. It seems the producers have really gone downtown to chinatown (In other words did a good job). The opening explaining Pokemon was far better then what previous movies has done with all those Pokemon and so on.
Animation. Top notch. The 3D effects worked well and I m not the kinda guy that thinks 3D works well in animes or cartoons (Thinks of Final Fantasy Unlimited. EEK!).
Deoxys. Finally learned how to say "Deoxys". Had no voice so 4Kids could nt screw up in that department! lol. The way Deoxys moves is amazing. The flying, the morphing etc. Very nice.

I was not a fan of Winnie the Pooh. I found it hard to disassociate it from the horrible Disneyfication, but when a long car journey loomed, this was the only CD available and ploughing through fog and heavy rain, it amused not only the children, but me as well. Alan Bennett is great and repeated listens are not as irritating as expected. I'd wholeheartedly recommend it.

Like reviewer “Lenfran” I saw this as a child when it was first released and agree with everything he says in “Make mine day” and will just add a few comments.
Apparently due to a misguided sense of political correctness or whatever the lively and tuneful “Martins and the Coys” (great fun about feuding hill billy families) has been omitted, why? I saw the unexpurgated version and suffered no ill effects whatsoever.
Some of the sequences are truly beautiful, “Blue Bayou” with its wonderful subtle palette of blue is the most sophisticated animation I think I have ever seen, with “Two Silhouettes” close behind, but this is not a true cartoon as the dancers are live (Riabouchinska and ... Read More:

It's full of well-arranged, catchy tunes. It doesn't outstay its welcome (just over half an hour) but does stay in your head!

This just blew me away when I saw it on television a while ago. I think it's from the seventies, certainly has that feel about it. It is just soooo beautiful the way they portray all the animals. I laughed out loud several times and even fought back some tears at a heart-breaking scene involving baby pelicans. It just shows you nature but from a human angle, treating the animals as if they were people. As I said, beautiful, sometimes very funny, very accessible for children (although sometimes a little sad) and just fun to watch. Who knew monkey's could get drunk from eating rotten fruit?
Just such a shame that it's region 1. I really NEED this in a region 2 encoding.
