The reason I have given this album 3 stars is because I only like half of it - the first CD.
The tracks on this CD start off really chilled and build up over the duration. My particular favourites are Radiohead and Moloko.
The second CD tracks are not really my kind of listening and have only graced my player a couple of times. I love the output of Fila Brazillia and have the majority of their other albums. But I am afraid this second CD does nothing for me.

Lemon Jelly move on but not necessarily quite where you expect... and, for fans of "Lost Horizons" this one needs care. Less quirky than its hugely successful predecessor, "'64 to '95" moves closer to mainstream club music, losing and gaining on the way. Gone is much of the humorous and inherently "uplifting" feel of "Lost Horizons" that made it such an enjoyable mass appeal album, in its place is a harder edge with more drawn out, less "easy-listening" work-outs of its themes. Serious stuff then, but is it any good?
Well, first impressions aren't great - initially most tracks seem like fairly lightweight electro-rambles underpinned by some odd & often annoying looped samples. But, after a few times through, things start to register much more ... Read More:

Fantastic if only there were night clubs in east anglia with this type of music, instead of all the cheesey crap most of them play, i thought this album really chilled me out and i think music like this is calming. Pls Pls Pls record more albums like this.

Apologies to the reviewer above but i really rate this album. I've got most of the Thievery's albums and apart from the Mirror Conspiracy This is probably my favourite. All the best tracks (except From Creation) from the original album are on here and the majority of them have been dubbed up to almost perfection. Most of them are rewound by the Thievery themselves but Kid Loco's effort is a blinder. If you're more into the dub side of Thievery Corporation then blatantly buy this and roll a fat one when u put it on. I might make enemies here but i think it's superior to The Richest Man in Babylon. So if u like it properly chilled then get on this.

I bought this at the Cafe del Mar, having just watched the sun go down whilst sipping champagne and cocktails with a friend. Beautiful. Three days later our car was broken into and my bag was nicked, with this inside. Less beautiful. Suffice to say I'd grown to love this album enough by that point to be replacing it now I'm home. Everyone's got volume 5. Be different...

I found that the music was as described and not original film scores...
In some respect is does exactly what it says on the box but I do not think I can quite relax with this in that I am always trying compare what I am listening too with what I remember the original music score sounds like...
If you like the music that you hear in a lift, then this is definitely one for you.
