I found that the music was as described and not original film scores...

In some respect is does exactly what it says on the box but I do not think I can quite relax with this in that I am always trying compare what I am listening too with what I remember the original music score sounds like...

If you like the music that you hear in a lift, then this is definitely one for you.

Far too many people compare Moby's earlier output unfavourably with 'Play'-era material, failing to realise that it's of a different time. Until the time of Leftfield, with the brilliant Leftism, made dance music listenable for the masses, people didn't really buy dance albums in any numbers to listen to at home. (Of course there were and always are exceptions).
Accordingly, Moby's pre-Mute recordings suffer from being compiled on 'albums' by his then-label Instinct, done without his creative input and lack cohesion as a result. (The first 'real' Moby album is therefore 'Everything is Wrong', for anyone who's interested!) Well this one is a little different to previous issues from the Cafe.

It has more of a Bossa Flamenco feel to it with some excellent choices. Ivan Tucakov's (Cinnabar Mx) is outstanding on CD1 as well as Capricorn and Heading for the sunrise.

CD2 starts with Nera & Felix "Del Mar" a truly magnificent piece. The album is not the usual stlye one has come to expect but is worth a listen and is never of my CD changer.

Goldfrapp are of the same creed as groups such as Lemon Jelly, Zero 7 and Portishead, offering up what is the arguably more intelligent side to modern dance music. New single 'Train' sees movement away from their earlier slightly more chilled-out, experimental works, while still remaining impressively innovative - dirty electronic bass lines drive the song forward while the relatively mellow, sensual vocals provide a good contrast. Very glam, very sexy, defiantly not your ordinary type of dance music, but defiantly the type that makes you want to move.
