This is one of my favourite albums since dream theaters 6' of inner turbulence. And as much as I hate to do it, track one and two of this album could quite easily be compared to such a masterpiece as 6'.
There are 4 tracks on the album. Three of them are between 20 minutes and half an hour, making this a serious progressive rock album, even more so than 'one' and 'question'. Track one starts off with a long instrumental which sets the balance of the album and its loose structure. Eventually the song gets into gear and progresses through a number of acousticy Ballad moments, plenty of fancy riffing and jamming and a kick butt guitar solo towards the end. Beautiful melodies and really profound (yet deceptively simple) lyrics. As always, Michael Card's words are deeply theologically rooted. I used this album a lot with my 3 girls; particularly the song 'Even the darkness is light to Him,' which is perfect for soothing away night fears with the peace of the Holy Spirit.

It is one of the most refreshing and inspirational worship artist I have heard in this lifetime the words are do connected to God and the presence of God is clearly in his heart. It is one of those that you will be fighting back the tears, But if you really want to feeling the presence of God personally I recommened you get this and listen to it. That is the truth.

I have bought a few of the WOW CDs but nothing comes close to WOW 1s. I usually only find one or two songs which appeal to me but this CD has such a mixture of good Christian music from Rock to soul. This is one of my favourite CDs of all times, I find myself singing my heart out while driving around. In fact I have to turn the music down so as not to disturb the folks outside the car and I'm not a fan of loud music!!!!!
Would I buy it again...most definately!!

Coming to the Circus from a background of Dream Theater, Liquid Tension Experiment and Vanden Plas, my standards were bound to be high, and the lads from Norway were going to have to be on their mettle. The good news is that they are worth every penny and are a real find. This is only their second CD but they are already highly accomplished and will find their way into many prog metal fans' collections. And quite possibly the track 'Arrival of Love' will find its way into some people's top ten, elbowing out much bigger names.

So what are they like? They are DT with a vocalist you can listen to all day; they are LTE with lyrics and VP with consistency. You could put 'Sane No More', the one instrumental track, in with Liquid Tension ... Read More:

This is one of those albums that if it were a book you would not be able to put it down. I have played it more times than I can count and still it brings me to tears, at different points, touching different moments of my life with it's inspired lyrics. It is far from conventional, seeking to be a fluid motion of sound from beginning to end. The lyrics are nothing short of poetic genius and the variety in styles and sounds is ingenious. In short, I loved it, and I recommend it to everyone who loves Jesus... in fact, just everyone!
