When I first bought this CD, I gave it a couple listens and wasn't that impressed. Now that I've gone back and listened to it again, I am enjoying it much more, although it still has its flaws.

This is the debut from John Waller. John was in a rock band before becoming the worship pastor at a church in Colorado. You can easily hear both influences as you listen to the CD. It's got the upward focus of worship music but has a light rock sound.

I could easily picture some of these songs in a contemporary church service. "Breathe on Me" and "Identity" are perfect worship choruses, for example. In fact, really, all these songs would fit that category.

Our World: Redeemed

I wasn't keen on the 'Fallen' Album, I thought that Flame had lost his fire, but 'Redeemed' is outstanding. Worship that catches you, it can give you a lump in your throat and fill you up at the same time. At first I thought that it was not as good as perhaps his first album (though the beats on that are a little dated now), but I stand corrected. After a few runs through I am amazed. hip-hop at its best.

Well I think my version of this CD is slightly different, contains few different songs, Joy isn't on mine, but anyway this CD is absolutely fantastic, every song is brilliant to listen to and singalongworthy. And yes they are fab in concert, saw them last year, and again this year and even though they were absolutely exhausted from flying straight from the states (to UK where I am) then were going back to states next day their performance was absolutely wicked! They rock!

The Ev'ry Valley and Rejoyce "arias" is the best!
Raw and full of emotions! Its a shame they didnt record the whole Messiah!! A real GEM!!

Rehearsals for Departure

Having bought this on it's release after Steve Lamacq played "Ohio" on Radio 1, I have never been dissapointed with it. Mr.Jurado has a voice that makes each song 100x more emotive than just the melody or words themselves - which are very emotive in the first place.

It's always great to find an artist who escapes the hub-ub and hype of the british press to release albums that are pure gold. Call me a rock-snob (see current issues of Word magazine for definitions), but to own an all time classic album that isn't owned by anyone else in your circle of friends is always a good feeling.

I was at Megafest 2004 and this CD was made available to us early. This is really for listening pleasure and reflecting on who we are in Christ. Track 4 really will minister to you as will the whole CD, the annointing on this is so evident. As God continues to use this Man of God lives will be changed, this CD is a blessing!

Connie had a very powerful voice but knew how to use it to best effect. This collection does not quite live up to it's title - it omits Where is my castle?, one of her best hits - but it's still by far the strongest hits collection available of Connie's music. Where is my castle? can be found on Super hits, but anybody wanting that track may be better waiting to see if it is on Connie's next compilation, probably in the RCA country legends series.

Apart from that omission, all Connie's big hits are here, including Once a day (her first and biggest hit), Ain't had no lovin', Cincinatti Ohio, Just one time, I never once stopped loving you and so many others.
