THis Cd is packed with those classic 90s Christian hits by Sonicflood, go ahead and buy it, if you don't know the older songs it's worth learning them. They are extremely good, although I would say the heavy sythn does sound a little dated.

This is a truely amazing album from a great American Band. Hard hitting alternative Rock/Emo anthums a plenty! If you haven't heard of this band you need to!

Absolutely brilliant, Hang on is my favourite track in this album and i always recommend it to believers who are struggling and it always has a fruitful effect, so thankyou Michael and God bless you! May we remain faithful and without compromise when it comes to His Holy Word! Jesus is Lord Amen

Blessed by a broken heart sound like your typical emo band with regards to their name, but when you listen to them you will know they are far from emo, mixing the cheesy side of 80s rock with a modern metal feel these lads have a unique sound, that much cant be disputed.
The band have a metalcore feel to them, the screams, the clean chorus and the punch that goes with it and they mix that with a van halen sound, synth and keyboards racxe along with solid slabs of riffs, the lyrics are very cliche of the 80s,something that you may have heard on early motley crue albums, and the odd ballad is also evident, they probably wont become a big name but they have some good moments,i suspect though that some of the shine of this will fade in time but for now i ... There had been rumours of a Stryper reunion for a number of years, the first concrete evidence of which came with 2003's "Seven" (a greatest hits package containing two (admittedly ordinary) new tracks.) But the question remains: after a long hiatus can a reformed Stryper still mix it with the current crop of Metal bands, and can their first release in 15 years still cut the mustard?
Having previewed "Reborn" just after its 2005 release the answer appeared to be a definite "No," which explains why it took me nearly 2 years to buy a copy. Gone were the pop-metal hooks, blazing guitar solos and trademark layered harmonies of earlier albums like "To Hell with the Devil" (although on closer examination I still heard them, albeit in much smaller ... This is King's X's only bad album. There is a ton of energy on it, but the band used absolutely no brains on any of these songs... if this was my first time hearing these guys, I'd think they had the IQ of your typical thrash band. And what in the world were they doing rehashing several songs whose original versions were FANTASTIC?! How can any King's X fan who heard the original "Freedom" not find this album to be an insult? What makes King's X albums so great is their ability to combine smarts with rock, but this album sounds more like a beginners' rock exercise. Nothing special going on here whatsoever.
