Fantastic album, love it! Really bored of the same lyrics the same old songs being remixed featuring crap upcoming R n' B artists. This is new fresh, a learning experience rather than the same 'im from the hood crap.' But it and enjoy. Lookout for shadow of death great tune.

Theres very few bands in this vein that don't just get slung into the 'emo/screamo' catagorisation and written off as generic. They are much like 'no brain' action flicks, you'll watch (listen to) them because they are entertaining to the eyes (ears) but theres nothing to get excited about, no depth, its just...there (Silverstein, Hawthorne Heights, the list goes on and on but I can't be arsed!)
This band is definitely NOT a band to be written off in such a manner! They play 'screamo' which is so well thought out, so original. The vocals are passionate and brutal, the riffage is unique, the synths blend so well. This is an album that I've liked throughout my changes in musical taste. From my roots loving early FFAF, Finch and Thrice ... Read More:

The title track Grace on Grace makes it worth the price of the whole CD. "I love your presence Lord" is the next best track for me. You sense the very presence of the Holy Spirit who pervades many of the tracks. Spot the Beatles sound alike to "I get by with a little help from my friends!"

When I first heard David Phelps, I immediately fell in love with his music. He has a powerful tenor voice that is a joy to listen to. I quickly went out and bought all of his CD's to date, including his first Christmas release. I found that one didn't excite me, and I quickly put it aside. So it was with some hesitation that I bought this new Christmas CD. I have to say I like it better even if it is uneven.
The disc consists of 15 tracks made up of mostly new material. True, there are old standbys like "Silent Night" and "O Holy Night" here. But most of the traditional songs have new arrangements, so they sound fresh. David had a hand in almost every song on this disc. The new ones he wrote himself, and he arranged all the traditional ... Read More:

Awesome. A measured experiment in rage, musicianship, harmony, worship, metal, hardcore and everything in between. Exhilerating. This is how music should sound.

I know it's a bit discouraging buying an album when there are no reviews or even ability to listen to a preview so I'll try to help..!
I'm only reviewing this based on 1 day of listening, but I am really enjoying it!
If you are buying this after hearing the 1st album like I did then you won't be disappointed in it. I really enjoyed the first, but this album I find more memorable. There is a good selection on here depending on what style you feel like.
If you're looking for a new Christian CD for your collection then this shouldn't disappoint- it really does have great lyrics and I feel it improves on the 1st album, but like the first album it isn't quite as memorable as some others like Relient K... but with RK there are definite songs that ...
