I thought this CD was really good. It has a variety of different songs, some songs have been origanally writen by artists like Dido. Traditional songs have been funked up to make them much more listenable!
Many are live recordings. There is only one song on this album that isn't my kind of music, but Jon Bon Jovi and Bobby Shriver being the creaters of the CD have done well. Soul, rock and funk all combined into one CD what more could you ask for! It's a wikid album and its for a great cause!

I recall this film well and we already own the old British release but the fact that Disney has not allowed Kermit to appear on this dvd is yet another example of how Henson's creative spirit is ultimately usurped by the market place. We all remember how much overlap there was between Henson's worlds; Fraggles would appear in Muppet films, Sesame Muppets appeared along side Fraggles and Muppets and this conveyed the most important thing in Henson's world, the family unit, his family was reflected here and what Disney and Hit should know by now, is that one product will support the other; these are old films, just waver the rights and someone take note, the Muppet franchise works at it's best when the Muppet family supports each other. If ever there was an album to convey perfectly the sentiments of the Christmas season this must be it.This has been a favourite album of my family for more years than I care to remember.Johnny Mathis with the fabulous Percy Faith and his Orchestra has got to be one of the best combinations for any Christmas album.There have been a number of compilations of these tracks available over the years but at last the album has been restored to it's complete version and it sounds wonderful.

The album was recorded in Columbia's 30th Street Studios in New York City in the summer of 1958 but you would never have guessed it!

Fabulous sound, wonderful mix of tracks, music that really sounds like the family singing round the Yule Log. Maddy Prior's voice has never been more sound or reliable. Especially excellent is the first track - but all the tracks are just so singable!! This is mulled wine and open fire music to really set the scene for the festivities, and no collection should be without it.
