Gold its a great 2 cd set by the girls, it does have a good mix of all the songs by the supremes and will keep you singing along with the songs long after they have stopped playing. what more can you ask. great songs by the best. enjoy

I was glad to see they'd added the original "Someone Like You" and also "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" because, to me, those songs ARE Bridget Jones. The thing I wish they'd put on here (even though it doesn't feature in the film) is "Just The Way You Are" by Billy Joel, to fit in with Darcy loving Bridget "Just as she is". That said, the songs on this CD are fantastic and generally fit in with the theme of the film, so fans of the film, or fans of MUSIC should pretty much love it.

I bought this album not really expecting to much from it,alright, there was the chart material that most people know and enjoy,but I was pleasently surprised to discover that this compilation is of a very high standard and consistently so.Luther genuinely had a fantastic voice,with a superb soulful delivery to equal the best in this genre.Some very catchy numbers with fantastic eighties sounds.If you like eighties R'n'b pop,this album or an album by this artist is an absolute must.I feel songs such as 'Never to much' deserve to be recognised as genuine classics in the pop genre.A very enjoyable album.

Okay, I have always been a huge fan of smooth soul and R&B, and Roberta Flack has always been the perfect mix of those two genres. I usually like my soul music with a little oomph, but damn, I melt each and every single time I listen to Roberta's music. Not since Dionne Warwick has there been a singer who sang her songs so effortlessly. This is a rather short compilation, but it's her first, and still the best if you ask me.
