this is a brilliant album,angels is a haunting tune that i couldnt and still cant stop listening to. Their songs stand somewhere between the heavier moments of evanesence and the more pop moments of nightwish, i have to say though im not sure why this album(i cant comment on others) is compared to nightwish so much, who on the whole had a more heavy sound, i guess its just they both had(nightwish ah how i miss thee) and have female singers who sang in an opera style. nightwish are however superior just because of the depth that they acheived. but dont let that put you off,this is a superb piece of pop/metal/opera rock call it what you will its still great!

I have listened to alot of Babyface's albums, but out of all of them this is my favorite. It is sensous and it is simply romantic. It can give a man alot of lyrics for his girl, it can even be for a mother. 'For the Cool in You' is a really great song that has so much touching words, that makes a man feel he was lucky to have his woman or partner. It has songs that range from, the blues, to making you want to dance all night,...so much more. It is definately worth the buy!

This is a nice career summary of the Mary Jane Girls, who only had two LP's to their name anyway.

Besides all the hits from the albums is the single-only track "Walk Like A Man", which is a nice addition.

Mary Jane Girls were a protegee band of funkster Rick James, so if you like his hit Superfreak, or are a fan of Rick James, this is a must!

Some of the tracks are just classic 80's soul/pop and will have you jumpin' jumpin' in no time!

Candy Man (later pseudo covered by Kylie Minogue on her Rhythm of Love album) is one of the stand out tracks.

"All Night Long" is also here (later covered by Mary J. Blige, a self-confessed Rick James fan).
