As befits anything given the nod of approval by legendary Pope of Trash John Waters, and as anyone who owns some of his movie soundtracks will expect, this collection is suitably bizarre, bewildering and at times outrageous - and therefore the perfect antidote to traditional Xmas collections (begone, Slade and Wizzard!)

I bought this cd when it first came out (15+ years ago????). I play it gleefully EVERY year without fail. I now have all of the Very Special Xmas series, but this first one is by far the very best one. Every track is perfect. I cannot recommend this collection highly enough. Beats all other Christmas compilations with ease. I NEVER tire of it - brilliant stuff!

I bought this cd when it first came out (15+ years ago????). I play it gleefully EVERY year without fail. I now have all of the Very Special Xmas series, but this first one is by far the very best one. Every track is perfect. I cannot recommend this collection highly enough.
