weird Al is so original and fresh. And this album certainly maintains that tradition. Of note is his parody of Avril Lavignes's complicated, you'll be rolling in the aisle. Also worthy of note, is Al's very own 'party at the leper colony' and 'ode to a superhero'
he is as fresh and orginal as he is funny, keep em coming Al.

When "The Button-Down Mind of Bob Newhart" appeared in 1960 it became the first comedy record ever to top the Billboard album charts. A quick follow-up recording, "The Button-Down Mind Strikes Back!" was quickly produced and also hit the top of the charts, as well as winning a couple of Grammy awards. The result was that virtually overnight Newhart became, as this album title notes, "the most celebrated new comedian since Atilla the Hun." There are six routines on this album, most of which use Newhart's trademark technique of being part of a conversation. All are sung with the barbed precision you would expect and the results are funny and wicked throughout.

You'll also find a moving and poignant song called Look Mummy, No Hands remembering fondly the caring hands of a parent ready to catch you when you're a child - and wishing they were there when you're an adult. Haven't we all been there?

Seriously, been a fan of Dane Cook for a while now, and this is easily his best material, blows my mind how he can make 2hours of material for 2 seperate cds just a year after he launched Harmful if Swallowed, which is also recommended

for any stand up comedy fans out there with a penchant for crazy comedians, with a mixture of intelligence, in which he conveys in a pretty covert way, then this guy is for you. highly recommended!

and any existing Dane fans out there, if you havent got it, buy it!

If you liked the US sitcom 'Seinfeld', you're gonna love this! This Comedy CD is absolutely hilarious from beginning to end. It includes the best stand-up segments from his run on broadway all seamlessly merged together. Hear him ponder all the questions that plague us through life including; why does the chemist have to be two feet taller than the rest of us?, why do the Chinese still use chopsticks? and why don't old people watch where they're going when they're driving? I've had this CD for a while and I'm still laughing - Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!!! Seriously, though - buy it.

Great album, but... most of the guitar solo from Dumb All Over has been cut out in a rather brutal and obvious way (I have it on vinyl too) which leaves me feeling slightly ripped off... so much so that I've bothered to rip the track from vinyl and insert it into a copy of the CD.

Uncle Bruce recently experienced grave doubts about the inclinations of his chiuaua 'Benedict', after witnessing some curious behaviour around a female poodle. This was quite out of character and Bruce suspects that it may have been induced by the homophobic taunts from the neighbour's bulldog. Still, all turned out well in the end. Bruce has assured me that shortly after hearing this training CD, Benedict started mincing around with a greater degree of 'artistic swagger' than ever before.

Finally, here it is. The funniest comedy album since Glorious was released. All the tracks are great, not just a few here and there wich sometimes can be the case on some of his albums. I especially recomend that you listen to the final track where Darth Vader visits the canteen of the death star (brilliant) or when God talks to Jesus about paganship.
If you are looking for a great comedy album you will get this and you will not be disapointed.
