I have'nt bought this yet as I have only just found it and am waiting(oh...god...the waiting) till pay-day to buy it. This is one of those albums that has every song on it for the trance generation (the original trance generation, not all the bull that was a spin-off from it). The number of times I have listened to this albums is a bit scary, especially considering every time I hear one of the tunes on it on the radio I expect a beautiful transition into the next song on the track listing, BUT IT NEVER HAPPENS :(

If you say you love trance and dont have this album, your just kidding yourself.

this album is superb!it has all the recent songs all the way from the black eyed peas to michel andrews.it has all the no.1's from the most recent months. it has all the latest from pop, rock ,roll,rap,jazz and r and b.we start with disc 1 with some of the number 1 hits.then we progress to some of the best pop songs this season.songs from lemar and jemelea.also great songs from beyonce,ultrabeats and liberty x.at the end there are some really poppy songs.i hope you are taking notes.there will be a test later!on disc 2 there is loads of rap and rock. songs from 50 cent,joe budden,steriophonics and justin timberlake-every girls favourate dream.not to mention the fact that the song mad world has also been number 1 for weeks.and just think (in november ... All credit to all concerned (particularly Alan Bremner who Mixed and Engineered the thing), this is an enjoyable mix of old house classics, many of which if you'll probably have on vinyl or whatever (if you're old and ugly enough!). Alan's Leftfield and Young MC mash up on CD1 is definitely a highlight for me.

Gosh, I remember this. It was a very timeous release in 1995, compiling a bunch of mostly indie guitar tunes right at the very height of britpop, and it is a pretty good britpop sampler. It has "Alright" by Supergrass, "Wake up Boo" by the Boo Radleys, and Edwyn Collins' "A Girl Like You", three of the most ubiquitous radio hits of the time. And "Whatever" by Oasis. Surprisingly however it does not have Pulp's "Common People" or anything by Sleeper.

There are britpop fellow travellers such as the Prodigy, Fluke and the Chemical Brothers, all of whom appeared on the soundtrack to the Playstation hit "Wipeout" and its sequel, and who were not indie guitar bands at all. There is nothing ... Read More:

The Only Classical Chillout You'll Ever Need

This Cd is well worth buying.
Firstly it is excellent value for a double disc with over 2 and a half hours of music.The sound is superb and the varition is well mixed and suited.
Highlight of this album for me are the haunting and divine Due Tramonti by Ludovico Einaudi (a genius!), a new choir arrangement of Barber's masterpiece Adagio for strings, Chopin's Nocturn Op.72/1 (as featured in 1 of last years best films "The Pianist").
Other highlights come from Arvo Part, Mascagni and Satie.
Featured performers include Lesley Garrett, the Philharmonica Orchestra, Trinity College Choir.
A fantastic album at a fantastic price, well worth getting, putting your feet up and relaxing and enjoying the beautiful music.
