This CD is great...the best chillhouse mix in my opinion, cafe del mar always plays the best chillout around. the difference between this mix and others is that this is is good from start to finish, all the tracks on this album are great, but my favorites are the FIRE remix and TIME FOR PEACE...deep chillout house at its best. i can just put it in my car and get an hour of quality music without having to push the next button. the transitions between songs is also very well done. bottom line, if you're a chill-head like iam, you'll love it. I felt compelled to write a review of this abum having owned it for more than a year. It's constantly featured on my playlists even after all this time, and with good reason. Some other reviewers are totally missing the point of the configuration of these 3 cd's. They are only intended as a celebratory snapshot of Hed Kandi's glittering past and do a dam good job of it. I admit to being a long-time kandi follower but I will be perfectly ready to slate an album if it fails my expectations. This one however, doesn't. Quite frankly, I don't care that I don't get the full versions of all the songs - its just means they get to put more top quality tunes on without wasting time on intros. I don't normally write reviews on Amazon but after reading the top comment i felt that i needed to put the record straight. I'm a massive Deep Dish Fan and seeing as they haven't released a comp CD since Toronto, i was pretty excited when i learnt that Sharam and Dubfire were releasing seperate CD's. However, having bought both, i fell in love with Sharam CD but promptly return Dubfire to where it came!

CD1 is clearly the best with some truly memorable tracks. It's probably a tad more commercial than previous Deep Dish releases but not in a Ministry sort of way only that you probably wouldn't hear many of these tracks in a Deep House style club.

The second disc doesn't have quite so many stand out tracks but still ranks ... Read More:

Let me start by saying what the hell is that one reviewer from wheymouth or wherever doing with his review, all that stuff about would he dance to the tracks by percentage etc... hahahaha sorry that just made me chuckle too much! Get real!
Anyways, im 20 and i wasnt even alive when this music was the popular genre but i know good music and this cd is a classic.
Theres a few tracks that could be replaced by more headnodding tracks hence the 4 stars but apart from that its an amazing collection of tracks to chill or party, and let me assure me i do both!
Standout tarcks include Jocelyn Brown - Somebody elses guy (i dont think anyone has mentioned this yet!!) Fat larrys band - Zoom, Mary Jane girls - All night long, to name just a few.
