The KLF are best remembered for "What Time Is Love?" & their media pranks. This album is just a pure joy to listen to, recorded in a minimalist way. The music is almost background music to Drummond & Cauty's soundscape of rivers, trains, sheep, planes, cars, mad preachers, and everyday sounds that you hear but never takes notice of, but on this album you do. If you can't sleep at night, put this album on in the dark and you begin to imagine you are on a journey around distant lands. The KLF also used samples from Elvis Presley, Fleetwood Mac, Acker Bilk, Jesus Loves You (aka Boy George). britney's crackin' debut single is a great start to this now! There are all sorts of styles in this now! including the dancey blue da ba dee lou's mambo and r kelly's turn back the hands of time to slow your mind down and keep you calm for a few minutes. Overall a great addition to the now! collection.

This is REALLY awesome!! I have to say Yoji Biomehanika is a big favourite of mine when it comes to hard house music (or hard dance as he likes to call it). It's full of energetic music with sometimes complex beats.....with disc 1 being my favourite and the mixing is sublime and hynotic. You MUST buy this if you're into hard dance- you will not be bored!

This is what I would class as an Essential Mix, as it is indeed essential to own. It is not a collection of tracks, it is one long wonderful journey of music the whole 77 minutes need to be given time without pause.

By the end of listening there is a feeling of satisfaction of a job well done.

All the track have steady beats with punching bass lines and high-flying melodies floating around on top giving an all-round experience for the listener. You do not have to dance, you do not have to do any activity - just sit and listen and be consumed by the music.

After a couple of mediocre releases, Housexy appears to have found its groove again ... CD1 is great, the first 8 tracks are awesome. After that it tails off a bit, and the same could be said for CD2. Overall though this is a fantastic compilation and as always is beautifully packaged

As with a good wine ageing well so this album from 1999 is tasting just great to me having stumbled across it in a sale only 9 years later! The Thievery Corporation excel in blending together so many 'world music' sounds so seamlessly over laid back trippy beats and this offering is just perfect. Its packed with so many good vibes you could confidently leave the whole 60 minutes worth on for the chillout phase of any cool party. Its perfect for any time of day really!
