Release Date November 15, 1999
A well-rounded trancey dance album, it could be turned up on a Friday night for dancing round the front room or turned low for background music.
Some all time classic uplifting euphoric tracks, a bit tame for your hard core dance fan, but if you only ever buy one dance album, this could do the job nicely.

To paraphrase a rather well known ad slogan, this does exactly what it says on the tin. Fun, uncomplicated tunes for listening to in the sun (preferably on a beach).
The first CD is the better of the two encompassing Layo & Bushwacka!, Moony, Tim Deluxe and a Techno'd up version of Green Velvet's "La La Land". X-Press 2's "Lazy" & DB Boulevard are a bit old now but still sound great. The mixing (done on computer unfortunately) isn't too bad either. Still not sure what Kylie's doing on there though.
The second CD has a more of a Trance feel to it and though it contains a couple of superb tracks notably Ferry Corsten & Art of Trance, but has it's fair share of clunkers too (Ian Van Dahl? Lasgo??). Still ... Read More:

This is the best dance cd i 've heard in a long time. Darudes "Feel the Beat", Jonahs "Ssstt", and Delerium's "Silence" make for an explosive experience!

This was a welcome surprise to me that Cream decided to release a genre of dance music that is ingored by most of the mainsteam music press as the 3rd in the 'collect' series. Featuring 3CDs and over 40 tracks this collection is full of quality tunes, and a few, prehaps, which some people may not include under the genre 'techno'. Such tracks as Layo and Bushwacka!'s 'Love Story' and Slam's 'Lifetimes' could easily fall under other compilations in the series. This is not a bad thing however, and adds some variety to the CDs as you are not sure which type track is up next. Unfortunately, like the previous CDs in the series, the collection is not mixed, which is good or bad depending how you look at it. While this means that it may not be suited to ... Read More:

This is the one cd that contains all the hottest club tunes you've been looking for ... well mixed with outstanding uplifting house !!! A MUST HAVE !!
Release Date March 10, 2003
Bought the album when it first came out, but for some reason never gave it the time it deserved, now 6 months later, it finally does. Still a quality album, second CD is mostly vocal trance, which i don't mind! The first CD is more my cup of tea, with some awesome pumping trance, highlight has to be the Flash remake! Awesome...HAHAHAH!
Release Date November 13, 2000
This has to be -the- greatest dance cd ever. The combination of beautiful balearic tunes and proper trance means that listening to this cd is an experience in its self. The mixing is well performed, unlike most modern dance cds (not mentioning any names) and flows fluidly so that your listening is not broken away. Perfect for late night drives or when your chilling & remembering the good ol' days. Worth every penny!

Incredible is the word that springs to mind when you're asked to describe this compilation. Cream Trance Anthems 2003 is 2 CD's dedicated purely to the best trance in existence anywhere from here to Pluto and beyond. Both CD's are jam packed full of the best commercial and pure trance. There's no point of picking out any notable tunes either because every tune in this compilation is worth its weight in gold. Cream Trance Anthems is one of those compilations where you find yourself listening to every track the whole way through without skipping any particular tunes. The Legends at Cream have never dissapointed when it came to trance and Trance Anthems 2003 is certainly reflective of this. I defy you not to buy this compilation!!

I have spent ages, not to mention a great deal of money, getting my hands on the PVD E-werk club mix of For An Angel, Aphrodite, Strange World (2000 remake), Xpander, etc etc. Why oh why did they wait until now to release this collection? It's a conspiracy I tell you. But you know I had to buy it, and so should you. This is the finest trance collection around (my own excepted). Please try not to be put off by the fact that these tracks are un-mixed - deep down you know that a really good mix is the exception these days.
