Very disappointed when I found out that it's just a DVD-Video with Dolby Digital and DTS tracks.
The DTS is 1536kbps, but only 20 bits and 48kHz, not 96/24 as advertised in the booklet and on the cover.

At least some people are still supporting surround music and in MLP as well.
This collection does not stray far from the Beatle track but boy waht a tour de force, Ringo knows his market and sticks to it muically it ex Beatle Ringo. However the surround mix is astonishgly good and brings a whole new depth to these songs which is missing from the red Book CD.
Those who loved 'LOVE' will like this.

To echo several other contributors on this page - no, it's not quite The Nightfly, so one can't give it five. Whilst being more soulful, laid-back and funky than that album, Kamakiriad has a slightly cheesy sound at times, especially on the first couple of tracks, attributable to the synthesised "brass", so typical of 80s recordings, whereas its predecessor had pretty much 100% real instruments. That said, the songs are as excellent as you'd expect, the beautiful Snowbound being one of his best ever and On the Dunes, with its lengthy, repetitious outro which you just don't want to end, making it worth the price of the CD by themselves. You don't get many DF albums to the pound. Or to the decade come to that. Buy before it's too late.

Two outstanding duets and ten great solo tracks ensure that this album is well up to the standard Reba set in the nineties. The title track, one of many ballads here, features the brilliant, highly successful duo of Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn. Reba tugs at the heart with wonderful, emotional songs like I wouldn't know, Invisible and Lonely alone. Much more cheerful is the brilliant Forever love, one of the country number one hits from this album.
Face to face is a duet featuring Linda Davis (who has a voice reminiscent of Janie Fricke), a former backing singer for Reba. These two recorded a duet in the early nineties (Does he love you), which did not appear on any original album by either of them but can be found on various compilations, ... Read More:

Every Depeche Mode fan will want to get their hands on this DVD of the 3rd (and presumably final) single from singer Dave Gahan's first solo album "Paper Monsters". Firstly it includes the full-length video for "Bottle Living". Sounds obvious, but the previous DVD single ("I Need You") did not include the video for that song - which makes you wonder if MUTE were taking the fans for granted (although they same mistake with the DVD single for Depeche Mode's "Freelove" back in 2001). Secondly it includes the Machine Head Synth Mix of "Bottle Living" - which is the best remix I've heard of this song, with a funk beat and gorgeous old-school synth bassline. So although this is the 3rd DVD single to be released off Paper Monsters - it's probably the first ... Read More:
