This DVDA from the Warner stable is an excellent example of the format. A lossless surround mix of this `grunge rock' album from the highly underrated Stone temple pilots, and a stereo mix along with DVD compatible Dolby track. There are also some video extras.
The music is comparable in tone to `Sound garden' or `Alice in chains'. The surround mix is discrete dynamic and adds lots of extra `air' to the album. For me `sex type thing' and `Crackerman' are the standout tracks.

This album is now nearly 20 years old, but still sounds absolutely phenomenal. For me, it's the best album that Mustaine has ever made. Not as po-faced as Metallica, and more melodic than Slayer, the Megadeth of 1986 rivalled both bands for sheer power and musical inventiveness. Each song's construction is varied, never just verse-chorus-verse-chorus-solo-chorus - in fact, they could have written twice as many songs just using the existing riffs on this album!
