Although not as widely popular in the U.S. as in England, 5 Star managed to score several hits. Most U.S. audiences first became aware of them from "All Fall Down", which hit the R&B and dance charts. "Can't Wait Another Minute" and "If I Say Yes" are prime examples of Brit-Pop at it's finest. Why they never became super huge here is still a mystery.

is good yes? yes. like good that is nice. not like good like man wiv camera. no. not like him. maybe more songs on this one. more singing like guy from coldplay but not him someone else. some piano on it. It make you happy like good weather and freinds on television. not hollyoaks like on e4 when you get holloaks then friends and you want friends but on e4 and e4+1 you get hollyoaks. how is this?

This album is quality and one of the funkiest I have heard in many a year. Quite difficult to describe, if you like The Quantic Soul Orchestra then you will definitely like this. Great beats, excellent production, very catchy tunes, top quality vocals. On the sleeve notes it says that it says a lot of the music was recorded with real musicians rather than samples, and I think you can really hear this, there is definitely a freshness about the music and quality of sound. Great album, you cant help but want to dance to it.

I've wanted this CD just off the strength of The Dells' "It's All Up to You", which is the most gorgeous song I've ever heard. Typically, this compilation is unavailable in the States, and I can't buy it off of UK iTunes (where I got to hear a sample of each song), so I'm just going to have to buy it here. As a Yank who loves her Northern Soul, I gotta say that the British are first class when it comes to championing and cherishing good music.

Despite generally being in to music with more bite and brutality I found it impossible to resist this album; It's fun, sharp, unashamed and stands out in my music collection. The only disappointment for me was that the 'full' versions of many of the songs on this album aren't quite as sharp as the radio edits. It appears they thinned a whole lot of the dead weight from tracks such as 'She's my man' and 'I don't feel like dancin'' before they put them out and the versions recorded in the album lose their flow and poise due to what can only be described padding. The ordering of the tracks isn't great either, it feels like all the songs are clumped and the weaker tracks were just shuffled later in to the order which means you'll probably listen to this on a track by track ... Barry White - The Collection

I'd say this is probably the best place to start if you're interested in giving Barry White a try. You get a fine collection of his best known tracks and get a good mix of his style, from the funk to the soul. He may be classed as slightly 'cheesy' these days, but his voice is amazing and you can't help but smile and tap your feet as each song kicks in. A great selection of Barry at his best for new and old fans alike.

Great second Album from Cascada. Definitely worth a buy. Great songs and What Hurts The Most is amazing and the outstanding track on here.
