This is a great CD, nice mix of music from the new 'it guy' in the music industry. but has anyone else noticed the similarity between the CD itself .. and the shape of bald manc git Karl pilkingtons head??? interesting

ISOS 5 was widely regarded as the classic - this is way better! Very instrumental, very light on the vocals, which is how I like my trance. CD 1 / CD 2... they're both stunners. The best trance I've heard in a long while.
Release Date November 19, 2007
I buy dance compilations primarily to listen to good mixing between (good) tracks. The track selection on this package isn't awful, OK there are some tracks that perhaps shouldn't be there, but what annoys me slightly is the total lack of any careful mixing between tracks. Some transitions are as smooth as silk, whereas others are a simple fade down and fade up which all takes place in about 3 seconds, or just a crash edit, which I find defeats the point of buying an album such as this.
When will MOS return to letting actual named DJ's mix their output?
Release Date September 12, 2005
I bought this on the strength of customer reviews which made it sound like the kind of music I might like.
Wrong. I find the music turgid and monotonous. It is difficult to determine where one track finshes and the next one begins. The strangled warble which passes for vocals is very irritating.
It may work as backing music on TV but is does not stand up on its own.

I've very strangely titled ths review as like being on a plane, just because some aspects of it are exactly that! When the album starts the plane is parked on the runway and the engines go down then everything just well.. takes off. You want to close your eyes but are just forced to submit and watch, just as the album opens you can't help just just sit listen or get up and dance like a looney depending on preference! Anyway dispensing with the metaphor, I was never a fan of drum and bass or any music of that kind. I thought that it was just for a certain group of people that was until me and my friend happened to find 'Hold your Colour' on a stone wall out in the middle of nowhere that my views on that music were changed perhaps forever. After we stuck it in the ... Read More:

I have been looking forward to the release of this cd and it doesnt disappoint!!! Theres the odd rubbish track but then i have come to expect that from compilation cds!!! The track listing on here is wrong, there are only 42 tracks on 2 cds-not sure where the listing above has come from!!! This is a definite must have for the summer-its certainly coming with me on holiday this year!!

How do people like this get record deals with lyrics like the painted cow and dave on a train. This group should have stayed in the 90's when hardcore music was in fashion.
They are not exactly Paul Van Dyk or Tiesto, they are just rip off merchants. The CD isn't exactly cutting edge in music - a 9 year old could have made this cd on his playstation.
I can see the draw with the chavs buying this as they are just kids with no musical taste.
Jumping All Over The World is terrible with lyrics like diggy wiggy wiggy. I would rather stick a rusty kitchen knive in my ears then listen to this garbage anymore.
I also see the draw with the 2nd cd being a cd full of so called "clasics". If you have any taste in decent music and are ... Read More:

it really surprised me that i liked this album being that i am a massive rock, indie and metal fan. but i have to say i loved nearly every track. i bought this album for my wife really because she is into dance and trance music, but when i heard it i loved it, especially tracks like save me, disco lights, flashlight, paradise and dreams, right by your side. there are loads more really great tracks but they are my stand out songs. so i would advise anyone whatever genre of music your into to go out and get this album i'm sure you will agree.
Release Date June 18, 1999
Totally amazing, one of the greatest albums ever made. Dark, brooding, with awesome scratching, beautiful and unsettling singing and, in my opinion, superior to Dummy. Love driving at night or smoking at home to this absolute classic. You'd be a fool not to hear it.
Release Date October 29, 2007
For anyone who likes a disco beat, great melodies, classic pop tunes and anthemic feel good music, this album is for you.
There is such clarity to this music. Each song is a well produced package, beautifully honed into a perfect pop classic. They can be played in any order and one would wonder which song would be selected as the next 'Single' - they are all worthy of release.
It seems rare in this day to find a whole album that can be played over and over. And be listened to the whole way through.
Just fab to drive to. Uplifting, energising, catchy. Great mixes that are simple, very effective and not 'over done'.
