Real good tracks but it is kept at a reasonable pace. It doesn't quite develop, so could appear a little boring. Tight and flawless nice music, more melodic than progressive the way it used to be. The Paris GU mix is similar.
Good for summer listening, and background - versatile for everywhere.
Nothing extreme. I have the tracks separately which are excellent, but this mix does not develop - There are more epic stand out mixes... This is good but I want people to know not to expect a 5 star GU Release... yet again. Unfortunately.

If ever a modern day artiste could fill the mighty shoes of Marvin Gaye then It's Seal. Emerging from obscurity as the dreadlocked dude who added attitude to Adamski's Killer and made the summer of 1990, he then emerged with his own eponymous album in 1991. "Crazy", "Future Love Paradise" and a reworked"Killer" made great listening. But it was the slow growing"Seal" of 1994 which really blew me away. a perfectly formed shaven Seal is framed against a pure white background and an iconic image is formed. The songs are outstanding "Bring it On" "Prayer for the Dying" "Dream in Metaphors" are soul searching and soul soothing especially at the time when I was raw from being dumped by a then girlfriend. The title of this album says it all. This is such a great collection of songs I don't know where to start. If you're new to Marley then you can't do better than this album, and if you're already a fan then this a great collection of his stuff in one place. Worth it for 'No woman no cry' alone! Brilliant summer music, or any time of the year it's that good!

A great collection of songs brilliantly sung. Not being a devoted Moyet follower, looking at the tracklist It has the main Moyet songs.............................. and plenty of others that get you exclaining "Oh I remember this one, forgot it was her!" time and again.

Great voice, a CD worth more than you can buy it on here for.

Some of Mobys' earlier work dates quite badly. This is not the case with Play it sounds just as fresh as it did all those years ago. This recording is like nothing you've heard before with chilling vocals and superb synths. When this came out it was like someone lit a fuse it seemed new people were "getting it" every week and it was THE album of the summer. You can listen to it now and it's just as moving as it always was. This will not date...

I agree with P K Brindle, this CD really should have had "To know him is to love him", but it has redeemed itself by having "He's a Rebel". All the songs are great on this and I would definitely recommend it. Fantastic to sing along to!
