i have had this cd for ages now and i never ever get bored of it if any one can rate it a 1 star then they must be pathetic! its one of the best dance hardcore cds that i have got. dance music has always been my favourite style but this cd is just fantastic. i bought it when it came out n i still listen to it now

Godfather jacks tall with this double set. I love the concept behind the two mixes. Disc One is the song disc, meaning vocals. Very, very soulful. Disc Two is the track disc, meaning tracks. Again, very, very soulful. It is evident that the man enjoys what he's doing because once you get a hold of this set you'll enjoy it, too. Favorite tracks are "Freedom (Make It Funky)", "I Remember Dance", "Hypnodelic", "Heavy Gospel Morning" and "Alabama Blues"
This is another timeless classic from one of the best years for House Music (1996), especially if you lived in England!

okay, first things first - this is not the best global underground. it's not the best dave seaman mix either, nor is it seaman's best global underground for that matter. However, in keeping with the generally high standards set by both of those names, it is good, verging on great.

Disc 1 starts with some deep, funky progressive house - the Moby remix is cool, nice and chunky and with the string bits all messed up. Then, we get some deep trance in Ian Wilkie's simply sublime Guten Morgen, and some techier trance too (which doesn't really do it for me). all good fun, if not earth-shakingly original.

This combines commercial songs together with more unknown tracks that get you boppin and thinkin 'god this is good'.

Can't wait to listen to while I'm gettin ready for my next nite out :0)

Luv Hed Kandi, and with this the legacy continues. I would recommend, but then again I do like my kandi.

I know the Ibiza classics thing has been done to death, but this is a pretty decent collection of tunes.
The might sounds flawless, but thats because it is. This whole album has been mixed on a PC - time stretched, pitch shifted, edited, the full works.
Now, I don't mind this - it's a CD full of classics but together in a clever and innovative way. But the time-stretching makes the sound quality AWFUL. The whole album sounds gritty, vocals sound choppy, and wonderful sweeping strings on trance tunes just sound pitted.
A great concept, good tunes, but poorly executed.

Truth is Hed Kandi rarely fail to totally impress. I often get tired of other comps - regardless of how good a reputation they have (Real Ibiza, Cafe Del Mar, Another Late Night, Back to Mine, Ministry) - but Hed Kandi manage quality collections across a good range of genres (Chillout, Nu Cool, Back To Love, Beach House & Disco Kandi). They also manage to avoid the repetition found in the above mentioned collections.

So... if you're having any kind of gathering ... these are CDs you can bung on without a seconds hesitation.

Now Hed Kandi have started a television advertising campaign perhaps we will see more people buying them and (fingers crossed) a drop in price.

The leader in their field - collect them all!

Some of the very best tracks from some of the best artists all concentrated in to one compilation of non stop music.
I liked all 3cd's but may be the cd's 1 and 2 slightly more than the 3rd, but then again I think I am being too critical. You would want to keep listening to them over and over again.
Judge Jules has done a brilliant job at mixing this in a excellent order. The music from different artists play on seamlessly. If you like this kind of music you will not be disappointed. Just brilliant.
