As a Hed Kandi fan, i may be slightly biased but this album is superb, and my personal favourite from the Beach House collection.

The latest collection of Pop-Dance Hits from 2003 includes great variety of smash hits.
The first CD is an eclectic mix of Pop-Dance that may not cater for a specific taste but is certainly worth pressing the 'next track' button for the songs you love.
But the second CD is certainly my favourite mix, including smash hits from Lasgo and Flip & Fill. A CD worth putting on for a party.
Although not perfect in my opinion, this CD is still an near esential buy for all those looking for a party, definately worth buying (look at the price!)

Gatecrasher Live

I was very surprised with this album.
Gatecrasher is currently trying to appeal to the masses and releasing alot of old/commercial trance. The last gatecrasher live (CD02 Scott Bond), was brilliant, so I took a risk with this. And what a breath of fresh air, this is the type of underground trance you would hear in the early morning in a club. Normally you buy the big trance albums (Live AS, ASOT), and you have a number of the same current 'big' tunes. This CD, on the other hand, has only a few.
So not only, does this crasher album play proper trance, but a deep/prog trance, which is rare on a big label.
If your in to trance, and go to the clubs, then this album is for you.

I've got to be the biggest Hed Kandi fan as I own nearly all of them! This one is another cracker from the record label! I find that as a DJ these albums are invaluable as all the tunes are the full 12" mixes. No radio edits going on here. A great buy!!

The Annual 2004

This CD if fantastic there is only one thing that lets it down - and that is the third CD. Although we all love to listen to dance anthems of the past - and most of these sangs really are respected anthems, it would have been nice to see some newer tunes on an ablbum entitled "2004". Overall though, this CD is a must with tunes like 'let the sun shine,' 'love me right' and 'somebody to love' making it what it is.

Don't know if i'm the only one who sees the release date as February 2007.......Incase i'm not, i thought i'd just say that i got my copy of this back in 2000 - so it is 7 years past release.

And i'm in Australia, so we usually get our CD's well after they've been released over in Europe.

On a side note, this compilation did keep me entertained for hours on end, and its re-discovery has rekindled my love for trance.

Stereo Sushi Vol.8

I hadn't bought any HK since Mark Doyle's departure, but being a big fan of the Stereo Sushi series I thought 'let's give it a try'. An utter disappointment i have to say...

CD 1 is good but not great, "runaway love" is a fine track but it is also on "Tokyo Disco", "for all eternity" is a cool track in the old sushi spirit, as is "devotion" (seamus haji hardly ever gets it wrong), "just a dream" is my favorite here, a real surprise with nice vocals by Kimara Lovelace (never heard of her before). the other tracks are all below average - not one of them makes me return to this CD over and over again.

CD 2, well, is just boring. it has none of the sushi spirit and feel. some people might like but not me...it's not joyful, happy house ... Read More:
