I bought this album on the strength of Lights Out, and am really pleased with it. I would give it five stars but there are maybe 3 or 4 weak tracks but I don't mind that. I would rather have 8 quality fresh experimental tunes and 3 or 4 that miss the mark, than 12 tracks of boring averageness.

For less than a fiver it's a bargain, just take a chance and get it.

'You'll find a way' is brilliant and my current pick of the bunch but I tend to change my mind as I become more familiar with albums - in a month I may prefer a different track.

Recorded in the early 1990s, Dawn Penn revisits her old songs with the then best producers Steely and Cleevie, Sly & Robbie, Clive Hunt and Geoffrey Chung. All of them kept as close possible to the relaxed sound of the originals albeit in a digital mode. Her greatest and only hit No No No is featured twice and the other 11 tracks are all great to listen to. The best of this enjoyable bunch are Night and day and Samfi boy.

If you are a fan of all things asian, esspecially fusion and electronica, then this cd was made for you. Karsh Kale is a star and trancends the boundaries of style and aproach on this CD. Anoushka is a fabulous sitarist (learning from her famous father Mr. Ravi Shankar) and sows her skills throughout this album. The compositions are on another level as they flow seemlessly from Indian classical to rock and electronica. Sting is amazing as well. There are so man great guests on this album including Salim Merchant, the Midival Punditz and Anoushkas sister Norah Jones, even Ravi makes an appearancel. Both Shankar and Kale shine bright throughout this journey as they take us into the next paradigm of music.

I bought this album last year. I was searching for a particular tune that i heard years ago at night club. Ting a ling! brought back the days when raving was a must on friday nite. I wish i had the 12inch version at the time wouldn't mind it on cd! all of his famous tunes like wicked in bed,twice my age need i go on. I also have a 2cd album which is not bad but this album is far better. A must in anyones collection
