This is not a new Sizzla album. As with any Penitentiary release of Sizzla material think of the albums "Children of Jah", which was "Speak of Jah" in all but name; "Burning Fire" a pastiche of "Taking Over" and "Jah Knows Best" it is substantially a collection of songs from older Sizzla albums.
In this case the material comes substantially from five albums (1) Hosanna (2) Black History (3) Good Ways (4) Taking Over (5) Light of my World -which were released between 2001 and 2003 plus a few compilation series "Reggae Max" and "Toe to Toe Volume 3".
The breakdown is as follows:
Track 1 - Worldwide Love comes from the Hosanna album.
Track 2- Love the Life was originally titled Live the Life You ... Read More:

How can this be the best of Barrington Levy without 'Here I Come'? The other selections are wikkid but where is 'Here I Come'????
Release Date February 25, 2008
A selection of tunes with meaningful lyrics and heart - felt reggae tunes of the old style that we have come to expect from Jamaica. Its great to see the popular greensleaves samplers back on the shelves. They offer a taste of new reggae tunes. Some are good because of the sweet reggae music like Lukie D's "How long", and some are good because of the deep and meaningful lyrics as in Demarco's "Better Jamaica". Out of the 12 tracks on offer I would only listen to 9 of them more than once. 3 tracks were really memorable for me. I will be looking out for the next one with interest, but I will look carefully before buying.

This album which i believe is Anoushka's first full solo performance album.(not forgetting the talents of the accompaning tabla and tanpura players). is a masterpiece from start to finish.it contains some of ravi shankars finest pieces of music.yes!Anoushka maybe the daughter of the legendary Ravi Shankar.but even if the world had never known of Ravi.Anoushka is a beautiful sitar player (in both looks and in her playing style).and you get a real feel of the pleasure she gets playing this beautiful music.by the end of the cd you really do wish that it had a longer running time.it does make you want more.

I am steadily collecting all of these Dynamite compilations as I can't seem to get through a summer without them! I have 100%, 200%, 300% and 400% and although all are excellent, this one is truly the best so far. It was the first of these compilations that I bought and I'm sure never get tired of listening to it. Highly recommended.

Jetstar have been releasing this series over a number of years, highlighting the tracks getting airplay in Jamaica.
Many of the tracks are good enough to be hits in the US and the UK, but don't get the airplay they deserve.
So to hear these gems you will have to buy this album.
Age is no barrier to making great music in Jamaica, and this collection opens with 52 year old Beres Hammond's melodic "Try if You Want", followed by Chuck Fender's contraversial "Gash Dem", banned by some radio stations for allegedly inciting violence.
Other highlights are George Dekker's take on the Marlon Asher track "Ganja Farmer", with it's laid back riddim and complaint of the way the farmer is treated by the establishment when they try to ... Read More:
