Must be one of the best Pressure Sounds compilations,if not the best!Sublime collection from the Micron label of early seventies roots reggae. From a time before the major labels jumped in on the back of Marley and the rasta band wagon was still empty.Well Recommended

All of Snatam kaur works are uplifting to the soul, the greatest gift anyone has is to uplift the human spirit and by just hearing Snatam Kaur's voice this is so easily felt. I recommend all of her works, which include Prem, Shanti, Heaven and beyond. Singh Kaur is also another artist with similar sounds. You can find out more on www.spiritvoyage.com

This was one of my favourite dub albums of the 80's. The reggae greats series were best-of compilations, good introductions to the bands featured, but this one was exclusively mixed, and essentially a dub version of Black Uhuru's Chill Out. To my ears Sly & Robbie's pure dub albums can sound too dry and sparse; no such worries here as Paul Smykle's remix produced a very lush spacey sound, nothing dull or repetitive, just an evolving, ambient, deep album. Even after 15 years of ambient and electronic music it stands up to repeated listenings. S & R's best ever album, alongside Language Barrier.

I've always loved Buju and his music, but when I bought this cd I thought that after all these years he would have to go the way of other recording artistes of using mediocre fillers around two hits to complete the ablum. I was certainly wrong! This is album is amazing!! No track skipping!! I danced, laughed, deejayed with him and just loved it!! Buju is deep into the hardcore dancehall while drawing everyone in with him. Even if you only like toned down reggae music you will love this.
AMAZING!!!

This is a Brilliant CD as all Beres's hits are here and more. There are two CD's and I would recommed it to amyone and if you are a Beres Hammond fan like I am you will love it, it's worth every penny.

Sean Paul CD is very hot but without the commercial success of "Dutty Rock". He definitely gives a more futuristic and laid back sound on some...while giving a more "back to the roots' feel on others. Anyone expecting to hear anything exactly like "gimme the light" can put there money back into there pockets. The album isn't filled with a bunch of cameos. Sean Paul holds it down on his own for the most part bringing his unique flavor to his international fan base. Sean Paul worked with fellow Jamaican artists and producers for the most part for "The Trinity."
Some of the tracks that appeal to me are "Temperature, Head in the zone, We be burning, Ever Blazing, Yardie Bone, Never gonna be the same, Breakout, and Connection."
