At the start of their career Boney M recorded three classic albums. This is the first of those classics. The vocals of lead singers Liz Mitchell and Marcia Barrett blend beauifully with those of producer Frank Farian to create the Boney M sound. The huge hits 'Daddy Cool' and 'Sunny' are the focal point of the album and they sound as good today as they did back in 1977. As this is the European version of the 1976 album it includes the Dutch hit 'Baby Do you Wanna Bump',and disappointingly this new issue does not include the track 'Help Help' which was only included on the UK version of the original album.

By the beginning of the eighties, Motown's glory days were long past, yet they were still able to score some big hits. Unfortunately for Motown, there were many more misses and minor hits than big hits as this compilation shows.

Being with you (Smokey Robinson) and One day in your life (Michael Jackson) both made number one in the UK, while Endless love (Diana Ross and Lionel Richie) made number one in America and also made the top ten in the UK. I'm coming out (Diana Ross) made the UK top twenty, but the remaining tracks made little, if any, impact in the UK charts.

This another great album from Miss.Labelle, and if you haven't heard much from this great singer this is a great first album to listen to, with all of her biggest hits, "Lady Marmalade", "If You Asked Me To", "On My Own" and some great ballads "Let Me Be Your Lady", and some funky eighties songs, "New Attitude" and "Yo Mister". Lots of fun and emotional songs all in one CD, buy this and you will learn what music is really about!

this 3 cd set is a great cd and is a must for all. 42 hit songs from DIANA ROSS AND THE SUPREMES, DIANA ROSS, AND THE SUPREMES. how many singers can say they have that many hits under there belt,and still keep putting out great records,(not many) it comes with a small book which is a short history of the girls' the first 2 cds are full of all the hits we always get on a collection like this, but to get a 3rd bonus cd which has just the SUPREMES hits just becomes a great cd for all. this has been done befor but as far as i know this set is not avalible in the uk so if you dont have this it is worth the money and worth a place in any fans collection. just stick it on and listen to some of the best songs of the 60s,70s 80s from the best girl group of ...
