It's a shame that artists can lose their flair - maybe not forever. This is a major disappointment - can't tell the difference between tunes on this one. Hello Everything was a let-down. Ultravisitor a lot better. I'm not an album person. Rate each tune individually in iTunes and you'll see they get better backward chronologically. Big Loada & Hard Normal Daddy are the best. I'm waiting for the next best new...

well what to say about this cd?
when i first got this cd i had only heard the song angelica before which i absolutely loved so much it made me buy the greatest hits.
when i first bought this album it took some listening to to get used to, but my god now it is one of my favourite cds, i can listen to this cd again and again. all the songs are so different in pace and melody, some songs been just in a state of pure idilic ecstacy while others have eclectic beats to rock youre socks off mostly having the very haunting vocals of the female singer, and ill tell you now her vocals are soomething else, very nice to listen to.

I agree with most of the reviewers comments - dark, smokey, jass/fusion etc. etc. I would suggest that anyone who enjoys works from early Soft Machine (first to fifth), Ian Carr's Nucleus, Isotope to Angelo Badalamenti's Fire Walk With Me should give this album a listen.

First of all, I think it's fair to give a brief introduction these two DJ's to any one new to Drum and Bass and of little knowledge, and looking to purchase some Drum and Bass which covers the entire Spectrum.

Friction is a prolific Artist, DJ and Label Owner, making his way through the ranks to become one of the elite of Drum and Bass with the likes of Andy C. As such his mixing skills are brilliant and it shows in his half of this compilation album.

The ironic thing is, I was living in the next street to singer Louise Rhodes in Didsbury, Manchester and used to see her around. The fact that someone just a few hundred yards away could produce an album as good as this is quite mind-blowing (but that's Manchester for you).

If it only had 'Gorecki' - a song that would be No.1 for weeks in any sane world - it would be great. That song is hopefully going to get some overdue recognition after being used in the TV ad for the new Tomb Raider game.

The lovely Eartha Kitt-like tone of Lou's voice and Andy Barlow's superb music is a killer combination. Forget the trip-hop/ D&B genre pigeonholing - it's just a fine piece of work in its own right.

Probably one of the best dubstep compilations out there at this time.

Caspa and Rusko take you on a journey through some of the less heard of dubstep, with mostly their own tracks, but broken up with the tracks from the likes of such DJs as Cotti and Coki. Saying that it is not strictly dubstep, it does speed up a bit towards the end and the trance and garage influences are very apparent in some of the beginning and end songs.

I have given this 5 stars because not only do i love this album deeply, almost everyone i have played it too has gone on to buy it. The popularity is such that i went to a party last week and the DJ was playing a lot of tracks of this album!

one of the best albums I have ever heard, from start to finish amazing!
Catch has got to be one of the best songs ever written.
I have to also state for the record they do not dissapoint live, they are excellent, so if you ever get the chance to see them live please go, you will not be angry you went.

From the beginning and the first drop at 8Ball you can tell you have bought one phat drum n' bass album that is still as amazingly uplifting as high society. Cyntific's ghetto blaster and flashback are two tunes and Jenna G's Woe is so uplifting as well as Strength 2 strengh, and its nice to get a touch of good vocals in a Dnb album. This album has so many great tracks in it, it just represents everything good about drum n' bass. A must buy for any person into good music.
