This is one of the most fascinating, absorbing and amazing records ever made in my opinion. Perhaps I'll comment more fully in due course, but for now, I'll just say that if you're considering buying this, go ahead! I can't imagine anyone who's interested in electronic music being anything other than delighted with their purchase!

This album is an absaloute classic. not many people have yet heard of Luke Vibert or Wagoin Christ. But this really is an unfound gem. The way its all placed together is genius. Nearly everytime I put it on, someone nearly always comes over and asked me who this is.They think its fantastic. That it really is. Its quite hard to get hold of, but worth every penny.

4 hero should have ditched the second CD in this package, which really lets the side down. The first disc (Page one) is an excellent foray into warm jazz and soul, with some juicy upright bass plucking to liven proceedings and quality vocals lending a touch of sophistication. The drums clatter over the wistful strings, giving a modern twist to an old, classic sound. The second CD (Page two) is worlds apart from the first. Cold, clinical electronic soundscapes are conjured up here, with zero soul and no humanity whatsoever. It is experimental weirdness which may appeal to some, but fans of more organic music will feel left out in the cold. In short, this is worth buying just for the first disc, which is a full-length album in itself, ... Read More:

What a fantastic introduction to the world of Jungle. The bass is infectious and even my gran likes some of the tracks. Buy it, buy it now, or forever regret it!

It's an absolute load of mash ups upon first hearing, the d'n'b aspect is perpetually in full swing throughout, although what makes the culmination of styles this time `round so distinctive is the sophisticated use of electronics; there are no wearing thin bleeps here, it's rather like a pinball machine only there's something in the way of said machine playing up thereby stopping the balls from going elsewhere (i.e. back to the start), this is an experimental leap. The Pac-man on acid pace never falters, as it did a lot with previous releases, it is near perfect from start to finish. There's a strong inclination to classical build ups, a tinkering of playfulness and of course the jazz element is ever present. A chaotic and addictive but sprinkled with gentle, warm ... Read More:

I heard Squarepusher mentioned a few times as an amazing bassist, and (going through a mildly electronic phase) decided to look into them/him. While it's very possible that I'm missing the point entirely, it just seemed like someone went mad on a keyboard with lots of effects, and added a drumline. It's like sci-fi rave in places, and computer-generated light jazz in others. There are one or two nice songs, like Circlewave 2, but nothing stirring.
If you want to appreciate this album, buy it. If you want to be entertained by it, don't.

This is an Excellent value compilation. Less than six quid for twenty four tracks. There is a good selection of drum and bass a bit of dub step some ambience, techno and at least one track of grime which I enjoyed.
It seems a very underground compilation as I had not heard of any of the artists on this album. Excuse my ignorance if they are better known. Overall I would recommend this album to anyone who is looking for something abit experimental and less comercial in the above types of dance music I mentioned.
