I first became interesed in the Verve Remixed collections a few years ago when I noticed the Nina Simone remixes on the first volume. I'm a big Nina Simone fan so bought the CD to see how her songs sounded remixed. I was very impressed and the collection of the first three CDs introduced me to a lot of artists I hadn't paid much attention to before.
This fourth collection is sublime, especially the closing remix of Ella's "I Get A Kick Out Of You". A lot of latin american rhythms feature on this collection so it is perfect for long summer evenings.
I only wish the club goers of Manchester where I live would wake up to these collections and request them in the clubs.

This is an Excellent value compilation. Less than six quid for twenty four tracks. There is a good selection of drum and bass a bit of dub step some ambience, techno and at least one track of grime which I enjoyed.
It seems a very underground compilation as I had not heard of any of the artists on this album. Excuse my ignorance if they are better known. Overall I would recommend this album to anyone who is looking for something abit experimental and less comercial in the above types of dance music I mentioned.

Oooooh energy, ah feel your energy. This is by far and away one of the outstanding Jungle/Drum & Bass (whatever you want to call it) albums of all time I rushed to the shop and bought it on double vynal upon released and have never been dissapointed with it. There may have been level problems on the original and I haven;t heard this version (hope it's not the washed down one that followed on CD). I was sorely dissapointed with all the hoo hah about Goldies Timeless cos it ain anything compared to this.....if you haven't got it -buy it

I was a big fan of the 1st CD of Logistics' "Now More Than Ever'. The only problem i found with that album is that it all sounded pretty much the same. There was no real diversity even though it was an excellent album. Now when i found out that Mr Gresham aka Logistics was going to release another longplayer, he had a lot to change but also a lot to live up to.

How did it turn out!?
F*cking Brilliant, thats what. This is an album that grows on you A LOT. Honestly, when i first started hearing tunes from it, i wasnt too impressed. I found this in a local charity shop and paid 99p out of curiousity. I certainly wasn't disappointed with this intelligent mix of genres and some heart wrenchingly sublime tracks such as 'Zero' and 'Gorecki'. This album has also educated my teenage son to appreciate the diversity of Drum & Bass- its definately my find of the year.

From the beginning and the first drop at 8Ball you can tell you have bought one phat drum n' bass album that is still as amazingly uplifting as high society. Cyntific's ghetto blaster and flashback are two tunes and Jenna G's Woe is so uplifting as well as Strength 2 strengh, and its nice to get a touch of good vocals in a Dnb album. This album has so many great tracks in it, it just represents everything good about drum n' bass. A must buy for any person into good music.

i dont posses the origonal jungle sounds cd, but this is good cd i must admit on cd1 it is a bit annoying when the mc's come in over the top but darrison is far better than mcmc. the sencond cd is were it redeems itself 13 unmixed tunes that for dj's are usful with unheard fresh tracks and even for me some unheard Adam F tracks. i got this cd for £3.99 and it was worth every penny.
