This is a blindly good album. Drum and bass as you would expect from Goldie with his brand of creative genuis. If you don't start moving to 'Crazy' your legs have dropped off.

The maturity of the drum&bass scene can certainly be attributed to the maturity of its producers, as many of the leaders now were pioneers of the style almost ten years ago. Krust and Die, in addition to their work with Reprazent, have released countless gems over the years for V Recordings and Full Cycle, including "Warhead" and "Jitta Bug," as well as a multitude of stellar remixes. Their places in the history of the genre are cemented, and this album might be the finest in what has been a fine year for d&b albums. This is yet another excellent release from the one and only Roni Size. The original track itself is brilliant and I'm sure most people will have heard it somewhere before, but this CD also contains 3 remixes, which are all significantly different from each other. Also included is the recording of the track with full vocals which is my personal favourite. If you're looking for phat beats with an excellent bass riff, then this single is my suggestion.

I bought this on the strength of 'Controlled Developments' instead of heeding the warnings of other dissatisfied listeners. They come nowhere near reaching the level of music which I had heard them produce before, on 'Controlled Developments' and with 'Silent Witness' (Headz II). All the tracks rely on sterile, repetitive drum loops; nothing is cut up enough to provide the dislocated breakbeats which I was expecting. They rely far too heavily on synths to provide dark sounds which end up sounding very empty, dry and lifeless. Not scary enough. Stick with Controlled Developments!
