I've kind of moved over towards 'Live at Bracknell' but this still a truely fine album. The breakdown from Bermsha Swing into Arabian Nightingale is lovely, and you can hear Cherry's feet on the studio floor as he goes between the stack of African folk instruments he uses. Ed Blackwell is, as ever, tremendous, and you really get the feeling that they're both digging what the other's doing so much. Buy this now! |
