A band who ought to be good, what with their witty banter, exploding drummers, offering self-improvement seminars to fans, and V necked sweaters. But sadly, none of these things are actually essential ingredients in writing a good tune.

And this follows in a line of We Are Scientists almost good records but just lacking that killer punch singles. WASAGRBJLTKPS for short. There's also the horrendous fact that it actually sounds an awful lot like a Killers single. Are WAS actually The Killers shorn of spangly jackets and moustaches. I hope so, for that would be a trick worthy of praise.

Not as good as 'Nobody Move, Nobody Get Hurt' but better than 'It's a Hit', this is simply marking time.

The price of this and the previous volume attracted me to this- the Lee 'Scratch' Perry box-set and the recent Don Letts compilation have turned me towards dub.

This CD warrants a place in anyone with eclectic tastes record collection- it's great to chill to, to smoke to...to pass the time. Plus, it gives ideas for artists albums to buy from the Blood & Fire label- who like Trojan have reissued lots of their classic works.

Hard to say what the best tracks are here- they're all brilliant- though Max 'Chase the Devil' Romeo's track is excellent in its extended dub form. Another fave is Impact Allstars 'Easy Come Dub', as is 'Two Face Rasta', 'Mama Look' and Gregory 'Night Nurse' Isaacs 'Slave Master'- which has a great ... Read More:

after waiting for this album in the post for ages i was getting rather weary weather that it will come. eventually it did and i thought it wasnt gunna be worth the wait omg i was mistaken. There is not one dull song throughout this album. I love the catchy chorus on highway robbery.I love the nine inch nails esque phone home i think its amazing. I love gregs voice too reminds me alot of the genius mike patton.The albium is amazing throughout with some amazing breakdowns and bloody good songs like highway robbery phone home panasonic youth,babys first coffin and my favourite sunshine the werewolf.Miss machine is one of those albums you could listen again and again like 36 crazyfists at the end of august. An amazing album
