Lady Marmalade is a great track with a fabulous collaboration of Mya, Pink, Christina Aguilera and Lil'Kim. Mya : By far the highlight of the track Mya displays a soft, mellow voice contrasting Pink, Christina and Lil' Kim. Pink : Exactly what you would expect from Pink, sort of scratchy voice, however, a great addition to the group. Christina : Definitely the most soulful voice of the group. Her voice is great, loud and a great mixture of pop and r'n'b. Lil'Kim : The rapper of the group. Graet addition although not really necessary. Love the song and although it is out of print, supposedly a great buy! See ya!

the hiphop side of this album is truly killer. every one of those songs are hand picked bona fide classics that if you dont already own you will surely recognise from the dance floor. Buuuuut for me personally the sould side is kinda lame. i prefer a little more bump n grind n liveliness to my soul and most of this stuff is a little slow. percy sledge? comeon! my parents used to slow dance to him! wheres ike and tina getting nasty for example? weak complaint i guess but if you like the solomon burke otis redding style ballards then you cant go wrong. Plus i gotta say (and this hurts) i thought premos scatching is a little weak here. intrusive where it shouldnt be. what a negative way to write about an album with so many good songs on... try reading ... This unmissable best of collection of Gang Starr classics is a record accessible to devout fans and those with only a passing interest in Hip-Hop. Guru has always been an intriguing MC for me. A man faithful to his roots but one of the few MC´s who feels drawn to the music´s origins, new wave Jazz and 70´s soul and funk. This CD reflects Guru and Premier´s wide musical palette. The opening track,"Full clip," with his dedication,"Big L rest in peace," is an indication of where their soul lies in the music but as you work your way through this CD you start to appreciate their genre transcending range. "Mass appeal," underlines the quality these two had right from the start. "Ex girl to next girl," is an amazing track. ... Read More:

I finally bought this album and I'm very impressed. His voice is not annoying on any of the songs and there is only 1 boring track on here ("Legend Of The Fall Offs") which leaves 14 really good tracks- including the singles "Touch It" & "I Love My B***h" and brilliant album tracks including "How We Do It Over Here w/Missy Elliott", "Get You Some", Etc... It is definately the best of the 3 Busta albums I have ("It Ain't Safe No More", "Genesis" & this) and is a really good album! You should check this album out, even if you're not a big Busta fan.

This album is amazing. I know we have heard all the tracks before, but you can just relax into a whole new playlist, and reminence back to all hit hits, including 2 new fantastic tracks. It has all time classics including Notorious Thugs, Hypnotize, Big Poppa and the king of all Biggie tracks, Juicy. Not one track on here you cannot enjoy, not even if you don't feel for it much. A bad thing is it didnt include other classics like Party and Bullsh**, Mo Money Mo Problems, Hold Ya Head and Going Back To Cali.
I suppose this collection wasn't as strong as 2pac's Greatest Hits, but belive me, it's damn close. There isn't much to say about this album, but trust me you've gotta get it. It's probably the most played album in my collection at the moment, until I get Bone ... Read More:

I have absolutely loved Everlast right from the beginning so maybe I'm biased towards the older albums like "whitey ford sings the blues" which could be why I only gave it 4 *s ...WHO CARES?... I'm listening to this album right now and I wouldn't change it if my house was burning down around my ears. I would definately recommend this to all lyric lovers.
P.s. got a sub in your car boot? then turn up track 4- Sleeping alone...

Gravediggaz have founded a new style of hip-hop. The production of rzarector (rza) and the undertaker (prince paul) is appropriately gruesome. This is just so different to any other cd i own, listening to it you enter the scary but fascinating world of the gravediggaz. Whoever's on the mic does a good job, i was particularly impressed by the Grym Reaper though.
