My favourite album without a doubt. Put simply, every home should have acopy. The scream team made a quite dazzling album with this one. Spanninga huge number of genres such as electronica, punk, free-form jazz,krautrock and hip-hop this album is breathtaking from start to finish. Atotal masterpiece.

It is not often that a cd provokes me to write a review, but this is just one superb cd. The music is just so relaxing and perfect be it for winding down after a hard days work or merely to relax in the bath. Every track is just so mellow. The thing i love about the cd is that unlike slow relaxing classical music, this cd will not send you to sleep; it keeps you there in a complete state of relaxation.

Truely unique. As are many of the Cafe Del Mar CDs.

Am just listening to this now and I cant believe how great it is. I have loved every CD she has done so far but this is so different. Bjork's experimentation in music is so moving and I hope she never stops taking risks

If you are like me and have a strong respect for Bjork but have never felt compelled to buy all her records this serves as an excellent summary of her career´s finest works.
"All is full of love," with it´s low-key sensitive lyrics blends excellently with the strings and effects. It´s a nice opener. I love,"Hyperballad," this track really builds nicely at the end, whereras Bjork doesn´t change the pitch of her voice. Other highlights are the rangy strings on,"Bachelorettee," the pounding drum beat of,"Hunter," and the slickly worded pop of,"Bigtime sensuality."

A schizophrenic and typically French mixture of choppy beats and fractured, processed sound. When it works, as on the stunning opener "Genesis" and the stomping closer "One Minute To Midnight" it's the equal (if not the better) of the best of contemporaries Mirwais and Daft Punk. The clipped and arrythmic Genesis is one of the best Parisian dance tracks I've yet heard, and the production has incredible depth and impact. However, when the music doesn't work it's confusing, irritating and even embarrassing. This is most often on the vocal tracks where there is either just too much going on in the mix(DVNO) or the vocal is annoying and the lyrics puerile (The Ppaarrttyy, D.A.N.C.E.). Not your run of the mill money spinner from the record agencies, this album really actually tries to "chill" you out, I have a lot of great memories to some of the tracks on this album so i just had to buy it again after the first one was accidently killed! Bearing in mind i dont usually BUY albums, this should be explanation enough!! well worth buying by anyone who knows a good chill out album when they hear one, Happy Listening.

This is a great starting place for anyone new to Aphex Twin. If you are already an Aphex fan then you've got this. Unless... well, then, you better buy this one quickly and not tell anyone that you didn't own it at one point.

If you know anything about Aphex Twin then you already know what the music on this single is going to sound like. Also, unless you don't own a TV, you have probably seen the video to the title track late at night. If you haven't, then, it's like the front cover but moving. Also, if you don't know anything about Richard D. James and his wonderful music then the songs sound like that cover.
