Listened to the score today for the first time. After also watching the first season of The Tudor's back to back and i am glad i did it like that cos i could not have waited a week to watch another episode. Anyway Trevor Morris scores this show perfect capturing the emotion and the period of the tudor's. If you enjoy movie scores in general and like composers such as Hans Zimmer, Harry Gregson-Williams you will enjoy this score 10/10.

This set is so basic I felt a bit ripped off. Inside the card box are the three DVD cases with bland looking covers, and inside were bare looking discs - it looks and feels like a cheap fake - but its the genuine article. I fell asleep during the "extras" disc.

One of the best cd's I've ever bought!! I love the voice of Amy adams, her songs (True Love's Kiss, Happy Working Song and That's How You Know) are very precious and beautiful; Carry Underwood is simply incredible in her song (Ever Ever After), too!; the instrumental songs transport you to that fantasy world (you wish you were into the movie again), they are so special and the arrangements are terrific, the orchestra is one of the best efforts of this sondtrack, and Alan Menken did a marvelous work!!...and I adore the romantic song (so Close), is the climax of both movie and soundtrack!! And the last song, with James Mardsen (That's Amore) is very nostalgic, funny and magic (you think you are in Paris)!! You have to buy this cd...Is simply ENCHANTED!! ... Read More:

If you really must get a score CD to one of the Bourne movies then go with Bourne Supremacy. I was expecting good things of this one but after giving it a couple of spins I can see why Varese Sarabande opted out of releasing this one (Decca picks this score up); it's mainly just recycled stuff from the previous films. But don't expect anything as frantic as 'Bim Bam Smash' from second movie here.
My main problem with this score is that is just so generic and random. Yes, the Bourne theme is in there, but it's hardly a masterwork. I feel like anyone who wanted to convey the hectic, unpredictable nature of the movie through music could have come up with this score. Some tracks (the CD is a mere 50 minutes) work alright as an adrenaline burst ... Read More:

While I've always enjoyed the Halo music, I don't think they've quite managed to get the CD releases quite right. The Halo 1 soundtrack had a couple of great suites joining together some of the main themes but as an album it didn't flow very well. I thought they made a mess of the Halo 2 vol 1 release in trying to mix standard tracks with the strong orchestral music of Halo. Vol. 2 was much better however as it 'complimented' Vol. 1 it was missing some of the strong titles and was a bit bland in sections.
Halo 3 is pretty much spot on though, two CDs of pure Halo music which flows well together with the music used for the Halo trailers added as bonus tracks at the end(although the 'believe' 117 monument music is missing I think). Halo 3 contains ... Read More:

This cd really evokes the magic of Back to the Future- it's almost as good as watching the film itself! The only notable tune that's missing is Mr Sandman. I would also prefer if the tracks were in the same order as the film. However, these are small criticisms of a great product. Enjoy!

I was really disappointed when listening to these recordings. I had an old recording of Morricone on a tape, which I love, and thought I was to find the same on this CD. But the interpretations are really different (I agree with one of the previous comments), and are far from carrying the same emotions.
Don't do like me, and listen to the song samples to make sure this is what you want.

Bernstein wrote himself into the annals of musical history with the score which he composed for West Side Story, a nineteen fifties version of Romeo and Juliet, and Stephen Sondheim did it justice with the terrific lyrics he wrote which made the music soar even higher. This a musical which has entered the popular consciousness with good reason. Who hasn't heard the beauty and poetry of "Maria", the expectant poignancy of "Tonight", or the eternally hopeful "Somewhere" and not been touched, especially when sung, as they are here, by Jim Bryant and Marnie Nixon? There is also the upbeat "America" and "I Feel Pretty" which are ensemble songs geared to showcase Jerome Robbins' choreography to perfection. This is a magnificent CD which should be a part of any collection, ... One of the most outstanding soundtracks ever to enhance a TV series. Weep along to Laura Palmer's Theme, Admire Audrey's dance, vibe on Night Life In Twin Peaks and let Julee Cruise give you the sensation of a flotation tank with her dreamy vocals on Into The Night, The Nightingale and Falling. Ethereal sounds that appropriately encapsulate the mood of the series filled with a thousand secrets.

Composer John Williams does an elegant job revisiting his classic "Indiana Jones" themes from the original trilogy, along with some well-written new music for "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull". It was a most wonderful surprise hearing "Marion's Theme" from "Raiders of the Lost Ark" again. But I was quite impressed with the surreal "Call of the Crystal" with its almost otherworldly three note motif and "Irina's Theme", which is yet another superb example of "sinister" film music along the lines of a softer, but no less menacing "Imperial March" from the original "Star Wars" trilogy. While I won't rate this fine score as among John Williams' very best (e. g. "Schindler's List" and "Angela's Ashes" among others), it is still among his finest, and one worth listening ... Read More:
